Everything was made enjoyable.

Lovely quiet hotel. Comfortable bed and calming surroudings. Nice bar and restaurant.

Unable to fault this accommodation, hence giving five likes overall. Convenient for a walk along the seafront and lots of cafes and restaurants to stop at along the way. Close proximity for sightseeing around the Gower coast and visiting the many bays.

The hotel is small enough to feel comfortable for a solo traveller. The majority of the staff I met were welcoming and friendly. I o have some comments to make and am happy to discuss which a manager as I would like to stay again. I booked the larger executive room as I stayed for 5 days. Room 5 was perfect for my needs and fairly quiet. Other guests complained about noise on the ground floor. I would like ti discuss poor service to the room. I would also like to praise a couple of staff.

Spent two nights. Arrived early & was allowed in. Friendly happy staff. A delightdul team. Supplied fans, as i cannot sleep without the fan noise. Breakfast perfect selection. Fruit, full english, brown toast & honey. Pastry 2nd day too. Cannot wait to book the same rooms. Later in the year. Thank you all xx

Location of shower control in room 2 meant door could not fully open. It needs adjustment or relocation of control box otherwise room 2 will have limited availability for guests. Apart from that, very good.

Location, value, a real home from home. Just one recurring crib: Room 4's shower is very poor, water temperature goes from boiling to freezing without warning! This has ben mentioned previously but to no effect.

Room very nice but windows black with mould. Cilit bang is a good mould remover!

Relaxed atmosphere and very attentive staff.

The room was very spacious and it was lovely to have dual aspect windows (with a view of the sea). The bed was lovely and comfortable. However, the chest of drawers, which has the kettle and tea making facilities on it, is too high! The chest of drawers does not need to be so big/high and it means that the kettle is rather dangerous and awkward to use being so high up.

Pretty much everything was great thankyou. Staff so helpful and accommodating. The only constructive feedback I can provide is: The cold breakfast buffet was rather cramped, maybe the table at the bottom right hand side could be removed, or set that particular buffet further back in the garden room. That way guests could walk around the table. The Televisions could do with an upgrade to smart tvs. A little fridge in the rooms would also be a real boost.

One several stays at Norton House. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. As a coeliac (totally gluten free diet) we return to the hotel as I have absolute confidence that my strict requirements are adhered to in the kitchen. Special thanks again to Tracey at breakfast and the Chef, and to the waiting team (especially Arin and his colleagues whose names we can't unfortunately remember). We've already booked another return visit.

We stayed in Room 4 which was very comfortable with a good en suite bathroom. The shower was a little difficult to use and the temperature of the water varied while in use. Suggest a small instruction sheet.

Friendly welcome, large room, very quiet, lovely breakfast. Good location.

Peace & Quiet on terrace

We were married here this time last year and returned for our anniversary. Staff were very attentive and always smiling. Room was spotless and the evening meal very tasty. Only negative was breakfast was not until 8am by which time we had to check out and get to work.

The hotel is warm and welcoming rooms are clean and comfortable we had a room at the front of the hotel, it had high ceilings the decor was tasteful we stayed there for two nights we will definitely be going back

Comfortable room, friendly and obliging staff

Good position, room 4 lovely room, however you need a degree to keep the shower at optimum temperature and no one told us about pulling the cord by the sink first to activate. Parking, on arrival just before 3 pm, no room due to a function. Maybe if you know you’ve got guests booked for specific days, then parking should be kept for those visitors to use. Not ideal after driving any distance to not be able to find a parking space, that’s was the only down side.

The staff were lovely. Very pleasant and helpful and professional. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Well positioned only a 2 minute walk from the seafront. My room was beautiful with a comfortable bed. Food was excellent.

We feel comfortable and welcome as well as enjoying excellent food and attentive service. Coming regularly we enjoy the relaxed yet excellent standard of care.

Following a change of room we had a room which met our expectation. The restaurant staff were attentive and polite.

Forgot to mention when we checked out : - ROOM 5 TV remote doesn't work (suspect it needs new batteries) - TV worked fine when changing channels etc. manually from the buttons on the back.

The hotel location is great, room was lovely, breakfast was good.

From our arrival to departure we could not have been better looked after. The room was large & clean. The food was AMAZING & so plentiful. The staff were all very polite & courteous.

Everything was great from the staff who welcomed us and served us,to the lovely spacious and comfortable bedroom,the highlight of the stay was the superb evening meal.Atrwat to have a dainty canoe ,followed by warm bread,with butter, oils,before our 3 course dinner and included Coffee.The Chef really deserves the AA 2 Rosette award,everything was freshly cooked,very tasty and beautifully presented.Breakfast was equally of a high standard,especially enjoyed having Laverbread.

It is always a joy to see the surrounding countryside.

Hotel was stunning, cleanliness superb, food beuatiful service the best . Waiters and sll staff couldn't do enough for us . . The position of the hotel suited us not far to walk to all local amenities. Can't wait to stay in this superior place again . Looking for our next deal ....

The welcome at check in was great, very friendly, ready with the room key and advised us to make dinner reservations if we were eating in, which we did. The room was huge and spacious and spotless. The team working breakfast were also super friendly and showed us around the buffet and made to order menu on arrival. Have to say, the food is one of the best I have ever eaten in a hotel, high quality, cooked to perfection and plenty of it.

We had our wedding reception here – a small family meal in the partitioned restaurant. From the very first query, we loved the place and the staff. Nicki was fantastic accommodating our needs, and other staff couldn't have been more helpful. The restaurant/waiting staff and manager were always on hand but not intrusive. The meal was delicious – everyone loved it. We stayed overnight and had a lovely room. The buffet and the cooked breakfast were fabulous. I'd thoroughly recommend the NHH!

Location was superb morning staff were friendly breakfast was ok but hardly aa rated as orange juice over concentrate cheap sliced loaf for toast coffee sachets however hot food was nice

We stayed in the executive room which was everything you’d expect it to be and more. The building is beautiful and in a fabulous location. The staff were welcoming and did everything to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The food was exceptional as was the service and we have already booked a table for New Year’s Eve lunch

The exec room was spacious, spotlessly clean, comfortable and well appoited with duel aspect windows overooking the garden. The bed was comfortable with good quality linen and towels.

The welcome, the friendly and efficient staff, the lovely big room and the food, which was excellent.

The breakfast was delicious freshly cooked and presented well. One suggestion I would make is to provide a bath mat for the shower, as I slipped onto the floor while showering. Thankfully I didn't sustain any injuries.

Food was very good. The room was lovely except the seal on the shower door was very dirty. I did report this but it did not get cleaned.

We have just returned after spending 3 nights at the Norton House Hotel in Mumbles. Great location just outside the main area of Mumbles. Food was really nice and staff very helpful.
