Cozy secluded cottage while still being able to enjoy everything in town.

cute, clean, bathroom stocked with all the necessities, snacks in the kitchen for guests, bed was very comfy, only issue was that refrigerator froze all food. We were so busy I didn't have time to check the temperature dial in the refrigerator. Would recommend for anyone with just a couple of guests. Very close to town

Loved how close this was to Fredericksburg, and how quiet the areas was. Nice fire pit outside and comfortable.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay. The house was so clean and from the kitchen to the bathroom we had everything you needed for a full weekend stay. We went for my sisters bachelorette party so there were quite a few of us staying but never once did we feel crowded. Town was so close but you felt so secluded and secure which is nice when you’re with a large group of girls. They have a fire pit with everything you need to start it which was amazing and a full coffee bar which was a nice start to the day especially sitting out on the front porch rocking.

The loft was great for our granddaughters. You have to go outside to get to it but because it was open to the downstairs, we felt comfortable letting them stay up there. Very quiet and serene! Chris was very quick to respond to questions. Lovely visit!

I don't normally write reviews but the host was very friendly and stopped by to check in on us. The upstairs is more spacious and probably a better place to hang out than the first floor. The stairs are on the exterior of the house to get to the 2nd floor.

We were on a girls weekend and while we enjoyed the location we did have a few issues regarding safety and missing information. The ad did not list that to access the upstairs loft you had to go outside and up stairs. All the solar powered lights on the stairs and above the door did not work. If we would not have had our cellphones for the flashlight be could have fallen. All of the solar lights on the property were not working. Also the upstairs bathroom was extremely small, like small closet size. The ac in the loft sounded like it was dripping water the whole time we were there. It had dripping a little but not how it sounded. The kitchen was a kitchenette as listed. There was a hot plate to cook on which was good because we cooked most of our food while we were there. Sadly the hot plate was greasy and dirty from previous guest as was the grill outside. The hot tub was a great addition which we enjoyed every evening. Overall it was close to town and work for the weekend.

We had a great stay. My kids love the hot tub and having a conversations with the cows!

overall Clean, hot tub was nice, front porch was nice for sitting, but not much of a view with all the bushes and small trees, it did attract the birds. no counter space on the inside, so we mainly had to use the table in the kitchen area. The spices that were there were hard and dried up so we passed on using any of those. We couldn't get to the loft unless you went outside and up the steep steps. We stayed 4 days with good rain chances, so we opt out of not using the loft. We stay every year in the hill country for our birthday week. The place was ok but does need improvement.

The host was excellent. Comfortable beds, linins and towels.

Internet not working, upstairs restroom too small, excellent location, and security, lots of snacks. We will be back.

The address given took us to the wrong place. Once we found the place it was clean and quiet. The pictures online do need to be updated as it didn’t look the same. Also, wish it listed online that to get up to the loft, you have to walk outside and up the stairs. The shrubs out front covering the house made it hard to see from the road if it was the correct place. Hot tub was an awesome feature!!

Excellent place to stay! Close proximity to downtown (about 10 minutes) and to Enchanted Rock (about 20 minutes).

House was all in good order and beds were comfortable. We really appreciated the filtered water, coffee, and snacks that were provided!! The listing is accurate that it is a kitchenette, not a kitchen. Don't plan to do much cooking or meal prep, and bring your own seasonings.I didn't see it listed, but you should be aware that the stairs to the loft are fully outside. This was fine for our group, but could be a problem if it is rainy, or if you have children that you planned to sleep in the loft.Overall, it was a great place, especially for the price. We enjoyed our stay.

Everything worked properly. It was a very nice and quiet little place, enjoyed the hot tub and the scenic views. Close enough to downtown for shopping and dinning. We would stay here again!

Cozy house. Second story access is external so it didn’t fit our needs exactly when we needed to put our young children upstairs. Property was very hard to find in the dark and attempting to contact the property manager for guidance was a very frustrating task.

House is cozy and quaint - teen kids enjoyed having a separate space in the loft and the outside staircase.

Ranch was as posted. Close to town but out enough for beautiful sky. The hot tub was nice. Perfect for a short family get away. No issue but the loft does require a separate entrance to get to.

The property was very pet friendly which we loved! The house was spacious and very close to Main Street which was so fun! We would absolutely stay there again.

The host was responsive and helpful without being intrusive, which made the stay smooth from start to finish. Overall, a simple, pleasant, trouble-free place to relax.

Overall a pretty good stay! Location was great. For 4 people we had no complaints and fit us comfortably. A few minor things we noticed (good/concerns):- shower leaks pretty bad and so we had to use towels to soak the water. When doing so we noticed some mold and what looked like some mushrooms growing in the corner of the bathroom. - downstairs bedroom is right below the upstairs half bath and the paint was peeling pretty noticeably on the ceiling so we were a bit concerned about a possible water leak- there was the sweetest orange kitty outside that was very friendly, honestly thought he was part of the stay (we enjoyed him) and the only picture I took during the stay lol. - the gate was never closed so we didn’t need the gate code- was a little hard to find in the dark so a higher beam outside light would have been helpful. -loved the snacks and water, truly a nice welcome, also AC worked wonderfully we were all cold and they had nice clean fuzzy blankets. - the living room was a great plus, we sat and played games in the evenings, nice huge open area bonus points for it!!

Awesome place. So many small details like coffee, creamer etc. Even make up remover pads. Juat to let the owners know there is an orange striped cat very friendly that did get into the house upon arriving for a minute or so. Not sure whos cat but if you happen to have guest that are allergic to cats my be an issue. Dont think it belongs to the owner but thought i would mention. We named the cat labubu :-) highly recommend this beautiful serene property. Would book again!!!

The location was perfect! Nice little house!

Loft only had access thru the outside and I got locked out since we never found the key. Did have difficulty opening the door for the loft, you have to pull out on the door with the last number, then it will unlock. It was raining and I was worried about slipping when walking up and down the stairs due to poor lighting. The restroom in the loft is very tight betweentherestroomandthesink. Did enjoy the downstairs area. Some in the family did enjoy the hot tub. It was easy to access with the instructions provided in the app.

We had a great stay.. property was very clean and inviting.. loved watching deer in the mornings. Maria our property manager was great to work with.

We enjoyed our hill country getaway to this property! The kiddos loved the hot tub and the location to downtown was great as we were close but also felt like we were out in the wide-open! If you have toddlers with you, note that the stairs to the loft don't have siding so just hold hands going up and down the stairs.

We had a great weekend! The space was great and would definitely stay here again.

Place was nice and clean , ac was great ,hot tub was nice and clean so no complaints at all . This was just my wife and i and we had a great time , minutes from main street .

there is not a covered parking spot as discription states.House is dusty and cobwebs throughout. Trash can outside was completely full. Could not reach the ceiling fan strings in dining, livingroom. And no light bulbs in bedside lamps.

We stayed for a couple nights and everything was perfect. Enjoyed the snacks and hot tub!

The house is pretty nice. It does have the stairs on the outside when I booked the house. I didn’t realize that was the only way to get on the loft, but it’s not bad and then the cleanliness was very nice. No problems there hot tub was really easy to operate and it was nice sitting out there. We were out there when they had the wildfire. The caretaker came by and and the police officer when we turned into our home also notified us so that was nice. At least we knew what was going on, but they had said we may get evacuated, but we didn’t so turned out to be really good. I also loved the way it was stocked. It had some paper plates some plastic utensils. It also had some snacks laying around had s’more stuff there is firewood fire the fire pit that made the trip from a 9 to 10 if you’re looking to stay in the area, it’s some good place.

We loved our stay. It had plenty of amenities, was very clean and was located just out of town, which was perfect for us.

Liked the quiet location. Our host's response was slow on requests or not at all on some. Few K-pods, no ground coffee, & water dispenser only lasted 1 day. Bath amenities were not as pictured. Fans had clumps of dust. Previous guest's trash filled outside trash container.

We really enjoyed this cottage. The only bummer is the need to go outside in order to get to the loft.

The kids thoroughly enjoyed the stay! They were very appreciative of the amenities and the closeness to Fredericksburg while still being away from some of the crowds. Also, it was the perfect location for visiting enchanted rock and unwinding after some hiking.

Property was very clean. Managers answered questions quickly. This property had everything we could have possibly needed and more. Short drive from Main Street. Well worth the drive for a quiet place to wined down the evenings.

Your rental house was the perfect combination of cozy and quirky to give us the most spectacular weekend for my friend’s bachelorette weekend!

The house was clean. There were plenty of beds. The only downside with this house it that you have to go outside and climb the stairs to access the upstairs bedroom. It was just inconvenient and a bit dangerous when trying to go to bed at night.

We were on the go the whole time for our short visit. The cottage gave us a relaxing home base. The hot tub was wonderful!

It should be very clear in the desription that the loft / 2nd bedroom is only accessible from outside. Other than that, the place worked out very well for us.

This little cottage was so perfect for myself and some girlfriends on a mom's weekend getaway. We loved that it felt secluded yet was very close to town. Sunrises here are a must to experience.
