Great location with lots of charm.

Property was convenient to the DC attractions (on the US Supreme Court end of town) and reasonably priced for the location. Plenty of room for 4 people.

Didn’t like the hidden property fee which added to the price. Also a security deposit at the time of booking. I get it, they’re protecting themselves, it was just annoying. Otherwise the place was fantastic.

The townhouse was fine. Good location, plenty of space & very clean. However, the price quoted was EXTREMELY misleading. The actual rental price showed a good value, but there were a ton of added fees that ended up doubling the cost! Had we known this, we would have made other arrangements. We don't know if the additional fees were the responsibility of the property owner or HomeAway, but we were so dumbfounded by the misrepresentation of the actual cost that we will never use HomeAway again.

Close to great resturants and walking distance to the National mall. Jason and Eric respond to your needs immediately.

This property was an ideal choice for our visit to DC for meetings on Capitol Hill. There was free on-street parking available, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and there was a table we could use as a working desk. We will definitely book here again if it is available.

We absolutely loved this apartment in Capitol Hill! Eric was very responsive and helpful any time we had questions and the free parking made our visit so much easier! We loved the historic home and the modern updates were well-done. We had 2 adults and 2 teens and we were comfortable with the space and the small kitchen fit our needs perfectly for our stay. We are saving this on our list for our next visit!

Location, location, location. This is a perfect location for sightseeing in Washington DC. It is a short walk to the Capitol, National Mall, and many museums. It was perfect for our week-long trip. A safe and relatively quiet neighborhood. Lots of on-street parking. We found parking on the street before and then we didn’t need to move our vehicle for street sweeping. Our family (2 adults, 4 kids aged 9-15) fit well in this apartment with plenty of sleeping room. There’s enough seating at the table to enjoy every meal: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. While there aren’t many restaurants nearby, there is a Trader Joe’s a few blocks away and many restaurants a short walk (about 20 minutes) away. We recommend driving to Ted’s Bulletin! Definitely would return!

The property discrimination was a little confusing. We thought the main party was on the main level and the extra apartment was in the basement. Instead the main accommodations was upstairs and another room on main level. (Not really a big deal). The place was in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to Metro.The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The only issue really was there were 5 people staying in main and only 4 towels presnted.Overall a great place for a short stay.Thank you!

The property was in a great location and we were able to walk or easily get a Lyft to some of the main attractions in DC. It was clean and the space was well utilized. Nice neighborhood

We LOVED staying here. Perfect location.

The 2nd bedroom bed was difficukt to get out and in if you have 2 in the bed. No paper towels or paper napkins. TV is roku. The biggest challange was taking our luggage up the stairs to the 2nd floor. .it was tough.Allwerstruggled

Loft is located within walking distance to the Capitol and National Mall. Good restaurants close by. Hosts were extremely responsive and helpful.

The bed in the back bedroom was really two mattresses on a frame rather than a mattress on a bedspring or one mattress on a platform. As such, it rolled and quaked with every turn. It was bad enough that my adult son came into my room and slept there on top of the couch. This was hardly what we intended in paying for a two bedroom place. This is an apartment that could with a few extra touches and maybe a little attention from a handyman could be charming. But the sliding door between the front room and dining room doesn’t slide and screams in its protest to being moved. From the plastic kitchen table and chairs to the thinning cow hide on the floor, furnishings are super cheap. All of this being said, the apt is in a safe, charming and walkable neighborhood. We made it work.

We enjoyed this historical place, very comfortable, well-kept and close to everything by walk. Very nice and reactive hosts to be mentioned too. We definitely recommend this rental for holidays in Washington DC.
