Blue Room - Private bathroom

As usual, Martyn and Marina were the perfect hosts for our special revisit - and Marina’s meal was excellent as usual! It is a refreshing change to stay in such a quiet and tranquil location, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life… especially staying in a thatched cottage with family staying in the Shepherd’s Hut. We didn’t get chance to sample the sauna, but hope to do that next time!

A lovely serene stay in hidden Somerset. Total peace, silence apart from birdsong. Very friendly welcome and delicious breakfast. Immaculate room and beautiful garden confirm that a lot of care and pride is taken in all apsects of this special place.

Tucked away and blissfully quiet, excellent food and lovely hosts, a relaxing place.

1) Really excellent included breakast and superb optional evening meals. 2) Lovely location - bird song, farm next door, lovely setting for walks and visits. 3) Very friendly and helpful hosts. 4) The charming thatched cottage(s) are beautifully upkept and furnished. 5) All facilities are very clean and looked after.

Corner House is absolutely charming and Marina and Martyn are very friendly and helpful hosts. The room was very comfortable - we enjoyed lying in bed watching woodpeckers and goldfinches visiting the bird table. Breakfast, with Marina's homemade preserves and granola, was delicious. We wished we'd ordered supper too!

Comfortable room in beautiful thatched cottage. Owners are taking the Covid-19 guidelines seriously with every precaution. Very friendly and helpful hosts full of local knowledge. Wonderful cake with tea on arrival and fabulous breakfast with fresh fruits from the garden, homemade granola, local honey, homemade jams etc and then wide choice of cooked breakfast using local produce.

The B&B was perfect and Martyn couldn't have been kinder. From early check-in, to dropping me off in the local town the next day to retrieve my car, my whole experience was brilliant.

We spent two nights in the beautiful accommodation at the Corner House, soaking up the glorious Somerset countryside and visiting the local cider producer. The shepherds hut is stunning, beautiful solid oak fittings with a delightful compact shower room. We awoke up to the sight of cattle in the surrounding fields. Outside there is a barbecue and garden tables and chairs.
