Wonderful 2 night stay at the B&B Marricriu. Illary was an amazing host. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We had a great stay at this nice B&B. Relaxing Pool, quiet area, very welcoming Hostel owners. We felt really comfortable.

This b&b was lovely. Beautiful outdoor area with garden and very clean pool. A space to park the car and a secure gate at the entrance so it felt nice and secure with our toddler running around. Very peaceful and calming. Lovely relaxed breakfast each morning. A couple of fab restaurants close by and the beach is an easy walk. A quiet area and there are slightly better beaches around but a really good base to get to lots of places - Noto, Modica, national park beaches etc. Fab host! Thank you!

Excellent modern facilities. Friendly welcome. Good location for exploring the South East area of Sicily and not too far from Catania airport. Added bonus of a pool and garden . Benefit of family restaurant within walking distance.

Illary made us very welcome, and we enjoyed every minute of our nine day stay. After a chilled out fresh breakfast, we were able to visit the numerous attractions in the area, sometimes a cultural visit, sometimes lounging on the beach. At the end of every day we spent a few hours around and in the pool, reading and cooling off, before showering in the lovely en suite and walking to the family restaurant (just down the road, beside the beach) for our evening meal . It is a family business, and all the family are lovely.

B&B Marricriu is a perfect place for your vacation. It is located perfectly, with the city centre 5 minutes away, plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby and beautiful beaches in adjacent villages. The B&B itself en it's rooms are very clean and comfortable! To top it all of you get the best host: Illary. She surprises you with fresh juice every morning and answers all your questions and even has very nice tips. We would recommend Marricriu to everybody!

Absolutely perfect for all the family including our 17, 20 and 22 year olds! Quiet and superbly kept villa with beautiful grounds and pool close to bars , restaurants and beach all within walking distance. Illary is so welcoming and helpful in every way. The family restaurant Portematto is also excellent and walkable. Thank you Illary and Giampaulo. We loved our first visit to beautiful Sicily and will be back.

Drawn by the attractive photo's, we decided to try out these lovely apartments. It felt like a small paradise: the ground floor apartment was spacious, well-maintained and clean. The garden absolutely fabulous, with well-kept greenery surrounding the swimming-pool. The latter turns into an exotic, somewhat romantic spot at night as the under-water lights smoothly change colour. The owner even collected us from the city centre when we got lost on arrival. We arrived here after spending our first few days in Sicily in a less-than impressive property a mile or so a way. What a contrast! Here we found a spotlessly clean, very friendly, well equipped, and comfortable home-from-home. Top marks! Probably the best place we have ever stayed.

We had an upstairs apartment which was spacious and cool. Everything was immaculate, the pool was fabulous and everywhere was kept very clean. The family also own a restaurant on the beach front which was simply lovely, as was the walk to it. It was easy to get to the beach. The apartment also had great mountainous views.
