We felt right at home, beginning with the warm welcome from our hosts, Tom and Teresa. The gorgeous views over the nearby golfcourse and forest led us to lunches and suppers on the expansive patio, always enjoying the deer, geese, and occasional rabbit that stopped by. Vancouver Island is a beautiful place to stay, although we are older than average and not quite up to all the hikes possible. We did take an overnight excursion down to Victoria to see museums and Butchart Gardens there, happy to come 'home' to our quiet retreat at Swan Lake. Nearby restaurants also added wonderful cuisine (seafood chowder!) (Nanoose Bay Cafe a plus), though cooking on a hot plate was sometimes a challenge. Altogether, a lovely retreat.

Beautiful spacious property at a perfect location, and better than expected. Property owner Teresa was so gracious and accommodating. Fully stocked kitchen with generous amount of breakfast items supplied. Comfortable bed with plenty of linens and bath towels. Comfortable living room furniture, HDTV with cable and fast WiFi internet. We enjoyed watching many deer from the large covered patio area overlooking the golf course fairway. We also enjoyed many scenic attractions and local restaurants. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you Teresa!

Lovely spot overlooking Hole 1 at Fairwinds Golf Course. We enjoyed morning coffee on covered deck with Deer wondering through. Location is only a few minutes walking distance to the ocean with amazing views. Nanoose is very peaceful. There are plenty of great restaurants close by to enjoy. Tom and Teresa were very easy to communicate with. A variety of breakfast foods were left for us to enjoy each morning at our leisure. King size bed was comfortable and decor was tasteful. I would recommend this location for anyone wanting to golf, explore Vancouver Island or just wanting to enjoy peaceful walks amidst beautiful scenery.

Without a doubt one of the best experiences we have had! From the first class accommodations and personal touches including not just a stocked refrigerator but coffee, cereals, homemade jams and the list goes on. The owners a real delight to be around but also careful to give you your privacy! Perfect! A completely relaxed setting! Thank you.

Our stay at Swan’s Pond exceeded our expectations. From the luxuriously comfortable king bed to quiet evenings relaxing on the deck we enjoyed the peace of natural surroundings and were treated each night to the sight of deer gently grazing on the fairway. Tom and Teresa were the wonderful hosts. We will definitely be coming back to this lovely oasis.

The suite itself was very spacious and well equipped. We had our own deck with a view of one of the holes on the golf course. The property is within a block or two of access to the coast. The hosts were very personable, friendly and generous. We would definitely consider a future stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. Arrived to having muffins and cookies waiting with orange juice and milk and cream in the fridge along with bread begals and eggs and fresh fruit. The master bedroom is huge and very cozy king bed. Loved the large teired deck in the morning with a coffee to watch the golfers go past. A great golf course if you have time. I nice short walk to the ocean with beautiful views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had the downstairs, with a walk out overlooking a golf course and often saw deer. A short walk away was a short nature trail to a beautiful peninsula overlooking the sea. Teresa and Tom were delightful, we even spent an evening on the deck sipping wine together. The accommodations were spacious and well kept. The kitchen did not have a full stove, but between the electric fry pan and the electric stove top, along with the fridge, BBQ and microwave we had everything we needed. We did many day trips from there over the week and at the end of the day it was so relaxing to be back home.
