Combining spectacular natural beauty and a prime waterfront location, Vancouver has captivated the imagination of travelers the world over. Surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and the Coastal Mountains, Mother Nature pulled out all the stops when she created “Canada’s Golden Child”. Vancouver is an experience, not a vacation, and you have to see it to believe it.

At Dejavu you are just steps away from an adventure that you’ll treasure forever…

The property is located in an affluent Asian neighborhood and is estimated to be worth millions. There is a bus taking me right from the train station to a stop near the house, which is only a short walk away. I was given a room, among others, on the second floor. Love the spacious room and the big windows, small fridge, coffee brewer, etc that come with it. However, there is something worth mentioning, and it's never disclosed to me that all guests have to share an oversized bathroom. Fortunately, other guests and I did not spend a long time occupying the bathroom for ourselves. There is something called consideration for others. But I could have asked more questions about the existence of the Bathroom sharing feature of the said property before booking. Guess I lucked out staying with other well-mannered guests in the same property. The living room and the adjoining kitchen are the common area. The swimming pool lies right outside of it. One just opens the patio door and takes a few steps to reach it. Unfortunately, the pool is off-limits until June 20, 2025. The owner decided to keep all windows closed and not turn on the ventilation. That makes the air a little stale. For that reason, I chose not to overstay in the common area. Instead, I spent my time in my room with large windows wide open.

Was a great place to stay. Nice neighborhood. Could have used AC during our stay as it was quite warm in the Vancouver area. Was nice with window open at night once the room cooled down . Pool was a very nice size but quite cold so we didn’t go for a swim. We met Tammy the owner who was very nice and helpful. Rates are very reasonable and appreciated. ?

My experience with the homeowner was only through the app, didn’t see or hear them on site. The room was clean, but didn’t expect to be sharing a bathroom with 3 other couples. This old house was renovated for these guests suites however no soundproofing, so if you don’t mind listening to private conversations or activity this is it. So pack your earplugs and grab bar for the slippery tub/shower. I wish I knew this before.

The place was nice, clean and warm. Will, the host was excellent. He was very caring and conscientious. He helped us throughout the stay with numerous things, as it was our first time there. He let us use the washing machine free of cost even though it wasn't included in the amenities privided. We had some very interesting conversations and I am glad we met him. Overall, I would highly recommend the place for staying because of the clean place and host who is extremely welcoming and accommodating.

Tammy and Will are outstanding hosts. They operate what I viewed as a bed and breakfast style accommodation from their personal home. They were patient with the American and his many questions and they flew the American flag on July 4th. There is a strong sense of family and community. The Richmond area is a well settled suburban area of Vancouver. You will need to be able to walk for food and amenities. The bus and train are easy to access. I highly recommend staying with Tammy and Will if you are a solo traveler looking to explore Vancouver.

Beautiful neighborhood and the house was very homely in a quiet cul de sac close to the airport, shops, freeway, and places of interest. The home is spotless and has plenty of parking on the street. For the water lovers there’s a seasonal backyard swimming pool that’s really cute for a dip when it gets a bit hot. Communication with the hosts was super easy and they made recommendations for our stay, as well as answered us promptly whenever we reached out. We were a bit concerned about sharing a very large bathroom/tub/shower and double sinks with possible other guests. However, never once did I not get in to the bathroom or have any issues. The only other person i saw going in there was Van who meticulously cleaned it every day. She was a relative of the host and as sweet as pie. We recommend this place with confidence in having a lovely clean place to put your head down after a great day out in Vancouver!! Laura & Laurie

This was a perfect place for our 3 nights stay in Vancouver. The house is located in a very safe area, about 35 min from downtown. We used public transportation train and bus and we felt safe at all times. The hosts Will and Tammy were wonderful. Very nice, gave us lots of suggestions and always responsive. We hope to be back in the future.
