Stayed Aug 31, 2025Wish I COULD tell you about my stay. Host communicated prior to the trip with directions/parking info and everything BUT the code to the door to get in. After driving 8 hours we sifted through the information again to grab the code which…wasn’t there. We tried contacting the host through the app, the phone number, even tried the neighbors with no luck. 5 hours later, got ahold of VRBO who tried and couldn't reach host either so they did refund us. Essentially we were left, homeless, right outside of nyc on Labor Day weekend. We were able to find a less than stellar hotel we could barely afford at this point (and still waiting on vrbo to refund that as they'd promised.)I never leave bad reviews. Ever. And I've never had any issues with VRBO ut this experience has made me very nervous to book moving forward.
