The apartment house is perfectly cozy. It has lots of quirks that come with an older home, but that adds to the charm! A couple things to be aware of: if you're tall, it might be a little difficult. I'm 5'10 and I had to duck to use the shower head. Also, if you're unsteady on your feet or have difficulty with stairs, the stairs leading to the apartment are very steep and narrow (especially when you add luggage). Everything was nice and clean, the bed was comfy and the towels soft. The water got nice and hot too. I'd recommend taking pics of the entrance instructions before you're there. It was a cellular dead zone for me so I ended up walking around the house in the pouring rain looking like a drowned rat to try to find the entrance (you have to go allllll the way behind the house past the screened patio). All in all, it was a wonderful stay!

We stopped for one night to break up a long drive and the cozy little place was perfect for the two of us. Would recommend Noble Creatures Brewing for a place to eat.

Worked really well for my needs. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated having a private kitchen area. I only used it for tea in the morning and to store food in the fridge overnight between travels, but appreciated having access to it. Nice mood lighting in the living room and bedroom. I was able to watch Netflix in the living room in the evening, which was nice.I was pretty warm, so it was nice to be able to turn down the heat to a more preferred temperature, especially for sleeping. I run warm and so prefer more like 66 degrees instead of 70.The host was great about a special request, which I really appreciated. You do need to carry items up pretty steep steps, so keep that in mind if you have a lot of items. The only other item I would note is that there are thinner fabric curtains in the bedroom that I'm not sure would provide much privacy at night with light on in the room, so I made sure to change in the bathroom. The rest of the apartment had actual blinds, which was nice.I would definitely stay here again if I were in the area.

Comfortable and cozy stay for a great price. I wish we could've stayed longer! I would suggest making sure the check-in instructions on the app match what is emailed to you, that way it's a bit less confusing.

The whole property is just perfect for our every need but our host definitely goes above and beyond accommodating her guest!

This was the perfect little place to stay for a one night visit for a concert. It was very easy to find, clean, welcoming and comfortable. We didn’t cook but it did look like the kitchen had everything you would need. I would definitely book here again next time I’m in town for a concert.

It's on the 2nd floor, accessible from the back. We arrived late and had a lot of things to bring up... Needs renovations... a lot...Toilet barely flushes, both restroom and kitchen sinks accumulate water... thank goodness the shower did not though... but there is a I don't know if they ever wash it type of spongy matt in the bottom of the shower.Many celing tiles are poping out reveiling possible mold... what are we breathing? Wooden walls around bathroom sink seems to have many years of accumulated toothpaste splashes... what seems to be a decorative towel was filthy...Are Vrbo even regulating health and safety issues?Air conditioning in the room has about a 1 inch gap that allows bugs in... Now the bed was really uncorfortable... we are 2 very regular weighted person (140 and 165 pounds) and could not sleep together as the bed was caving in!!Would not be back and would not recommend. I guess you get what you pay for... lesson learned!

Like stepping back in time, Victorian like setting. Kathryn was delightful, kind, and observant to my needs. If you're looking for a quiet setting for a night's rest. This little apartment will suit the bill.

The bed was very small and uncomfortable for two people. The bathroom toilet was very slow to flush, if it even did. The shelves in the tub were very dirty and had random bottles of used shampoo, acne cream, etc. The stairs were very steep. It was very dark like a cabin would be. We were disappointed and wouldn’t stay there again.

As advertised, it did feel as though you are in a cabin, it was pretty dark. Ms. Katherine was kind enough to make up the extra bed for our grandson and that was appreciated. Before booking, I specifically looked to make sure they had laundry facilities. It has a washer and dryer, but the washer has a sign on it that says “please do not use” so we had to go to a laundromat. The bed was too small for two people to sleep comfortably. I’m sure it would be fine for one. I guess the worse part for me was the unclean bathtub with numerous half empty bottles and the toilet that would only flush half of the time. Fortunately, we only needed a place to sleep and shower. I wouldn’t stay there again.

This cute apartment was very clean and cozy! Kathryn was very easy to reach when I had questions. The apartment had everything we needed. I would for sure stay here again!

Fit our needs perfectly. Needed a night to stay for a dance competition. The location was great and the space was clean. The bed was comfortable. We would stay again.

Apartment was just the right size for my husband, myself, and our teen son. Everything was clean and tidy and was a wonderful place to relax. If we ever need another place to stay in Youngstown, this will definitely be at the top of the list!

This was our 2nd stay at Ms. Kathryns property and we just love it! It has everything we need with the comforts of home while we're up here visiting family! Definitely recommend!

I made a mistake in my reservation, and the communication around that got unnecessarily heated and confusing because I really had a hard time getting a word in. I really don’t like to be talked over. Good customer service practices include good listening.

This one bedroom space worked very well for our visit to Youngstown (for a family wedding). The VRBO was very well stocked, comfortable & quiet! Thank you thank you! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
