Wooded Oasis A Modern & Cosy MIL Suite with a Private Hot Tub & Pool.

It was great

Absolutely wonderful stay! Newly renovated, clean and welcoming 2 bedroom, 1 bath, large kitchen and living room area. We were delighted at all the extras as described, including TVs in each room. The living room TV had access to Netflix and Disney, which was nice to wind down to after a busy day. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing food and eating. We used the laundry machine and dryer. Great location in a quiet neighborhood. We were able to text the owners a few times as needed and they were quick to respond. They're a very nice family and made us feel very welcome and even baked us some goodies! The home is located close to all sorts of stores, including grocery stores. I could go on how excellent this property is. I will definitely stay here again on my future visits to Seattle.

Nice fireplace for the cool evenings and mornings. Just enough space to spread out and not be cramped up like we would in a hotel. Clean and in a safe neighborhood.

The space here is very cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and in working order. The bed I used was very comfortable. It was nice to arrive at a spotlessly clean and nicely decorated place. I was greeted with a warm freshly baked treat as well! I highly recommend this location.

Hosts were very accommodating and kind. The apartment had everything we needed & more. Street parking was always available in front of the house. Communication was good. They made our stay extra special by celebrating my birthday with a delicious homemade cake & scrumptious scones. We enjoyed the neighborhood & its close proximity to the Edmonds ferry, parks, public transportation & major thoroughfares. We would definitely stay here again.

This basement apartment was well appointed, spacious, and very clean. We spent two nights here and enjoyed our stay. Having the pool and hot tub to use was great!

The MIL suite is clean and cozy. The king sized bed is so comfortable. We had a fireplace to use when we were cold. We had access to washing machine and dryer. We had everything needed in the kitchen to make breakfast if we wanted to. The back yard is a beautiful wooded area. The hosts were readily available if needed. It was a wonderful stay!

The property is lovely. Very clean lots of towels great hot tub. Very friendly hosts. Easy check in and out. The only thing I would say is that you have to park out front and the entrance is in the backyard and do if you have any difficulty with stairs or have a lot of stuff to unload it might not be the chest place. But it does feel secluded and the woods are truly beautiful!!

Nice property, everything was adequate. The only complaint is that there were a lot of (long) strands of dark hair in the master bedroom bed and all over the bathroom towels on the walls in the bathroom. Otherwise, everything was nice.

We stayed here for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the space! Very comfortable beds, everything we might have needed in the kitchen, and convenient location. The host provided great information/instructions and even left a plate of scones when we arrived, which were absolutely fantastic.

Overall our stay was a great experience. The suite was very clean and tidy upon our arrival and the hosts were very friendly and easy to talk to. Their daughter even brought us homemade blueberry muffins our first morning there. There was already a lot of extra amenities available which was not expected. They had coffee and tea as well as oatmeal packets set out for the mornings, soap and dryer sheets for our laundry, as well as plenty of cook wear for the days we decided to not eat out. The only thing that made this a 4-Star stay was that, with it being an attached unit, the footsteps of our hosts were heard all throughout the night. Not a super big deal for us but it might be something to keep in mind if you're a light sleeper. The pool was readily available, albeit at an additional 25 charge per day. This was completely understandable as the pool needed to be heated while we were there. The hot tub is on a lower deck surrounded by nice ambient lighting and a wooded area that completes the astetic of the outdoorsy Washington vibe. The location is only 35 miles from downtown Seattle but the traffic can make this over an hour drive. There's plenty to do in the area though if the city isn't your cup of tea. Parks, restaurants, and waterside sites galore!

This suite was just what we needed for our stay. We explored the national parks and Seattle so needed a place mainly for chilling at night. We had everything we needed to make breakfast in the morning before we left and dinner when we got back. Beds were comfortable and place was very clean. Neighborhood was sagmfe and cozy with ample street parking.

There were many pros and a couple cons.Pros: Beautiful setting and very safe feeling neighborhood, awesome kitchen - well stocked, loved having the gas fireplace, and very very comfortable King size bed - the most comfortable I think we've experienced outside of our own bed.Cons: Access is challenging for anyone with physical disabilities. I didn't think to ask specifically about that so lesson learned for me. Able bodied adults would have no issue but two of the three of us have some issues and it was very challenging for them.There is some noise from upstairs and from the furnace - especially in the second bedroom but the owners are actively working to remedy the noise from upstairs.Faucet in bathroom sink looks amazing but functionality is very frustrating. Impossible to even rinse hands without ending up with water all over the counter. If the faucet is not turned on fully the water actually runs on the back of the counter instead of into the sink.And very puzzling - one lamp was missing a bulb. No big deal and would not even be worth mentioning except that we attempted to contact the owners via text, phone and messaging on the VRBO app to get a bulb for it. We never got a response - I'm still very puzzled about that.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was a wonderful place to have family over for dinner. The owners were helpful and answered our questions promptly. We hope to book again!

It wasn't a quiet property, it was oddly incredibly loud. I think there's something wrong with the HVAC or boiler because it was so loud and shook the doors that both bedrooms couldn't sleep. It wasn't too hot or too cold but the HVAC was constantly kicking on. We couldn't sleep during our entire stay here. Also no tissues or kleenex available. Otherwise great stay.

We picked this place because it was 5 minutes from our son's house. It is a very nice basement apartment. Spacious kitchen and a cozy fireplace. Two things that would take away from the stay were not being able to control the heat and the footsteps of the occupants upstairs. But, you would have the same in a condo or apartment rental. The house is in very quiet neighborhood, which we loved. Most likely would stay again.

The apartment is spacious and beautiful. The backyard is set next to beautiful, tall evergreen trees. Quiet and comforable.

We love staying here cause the owners are always nice plus they have a pool and hot tub we can use we’re close to everyone and in the middle of town makes it great. And we will be back in May again this will be our 3rd stay thanks for letting us stay there! See y’all soon again the owners are amazing as well! 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

Nice and roomy getaway near Seattle.

Great location north of Seattle in a quiet, secluded neighborhood conveniently located to shopping and dining. This property is set up as a private entrance mother-in-law suite with two full bedrooms and a pull-out couch in the living room, as well as a full kitchen. The property owners live upstairs. They were very welcoming and offered us homemade muffins and fresh-picked blueberries. We had full access to the private wooded backyard with pool and hot tub during our stay. Due to the wooded backyard and need to keep the pool heated we coordinated with the hosts about when we wanted to use the pool so they could make sure it was clean and heated for our use. Parking is on the street but pretty much no traffic. Loved our stay and would highly recommend!
