Super clean. Super close to ski trail
This was just what I expected… worked great for my son and me for a few days of skiing. I would definitely return. Constructive feedback would be to stock the kitchen with better cookware. Thanks for a great getaway!
Absolutely loved the condo and area.
It was great! Unit is exactly as described. Iron Horse resort has a great hot tub/pool area. You can walk right up to the trail and ski down to the base area. It is a close walk to restaurants at the base area. Perfect for a couple looking for an easy getaway weekend!
The condo was ok. Personally the cleaning fee is a joke. Way too much IMO. And I was on the 5th floor D wing and the elevator was not working! The signs in the condo say no bikes in the hallway. It said nothing about keeping $8000 bicycles in the condo proper. We were well informed, buy some arrogant people who told us that we were not allowed to do that. Iron Horse needs to update their signs, to say no bikes allowed in the entire condo. I saw dogs walking in the hallways, and I am sure their paws are just as nasty as any bike tire. Overall I appreciate the place to stay but I would not rent any condo at Ironhorse again. Thank you and have a good evening
Needs a little updating and rearranging to allow for more room for bags. Couch bed is starting to sag in the middle. Also, I think if you got rid of the bulky TV stand it would allow for more room around the bed. I had to jump over my husband to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. The huge and heavy table could be changed out to a breakfast nook and put some bar stools to save room. This is not to be negative, just some designer suggestions to maximize room. Thanks for the stay
Nice place to stay. I would stay there again for sure. The rooms had everything you need to cook, watch tv, internet. The ski access was good. Only complaint would be the door codes to get around the place and the restaurant needs to be opened.
Good snow, great location, and indoor parking. Too bad the fireplace wasn't operational.
Cons: Room is very small for four people. Would be ok for two. Bed is uncomfortable. Stains on one of the blankets. Did not know the pool was closed until after we booked it. Pros: It is close to the lifts and there is garage parking.
We were very happy with the condo. It was clean and cozy. We loved the view of the corridor, sitting by the gas fireplace after skiing, and cooking in the kitchen. When I couldn't figure out the correct entrance code, which was my own misunderstanding, a manager called me back to assist me. Thank you. Our only complaints were 1) the garage was too full to park in on day two and three and 2) the batteries were dead in the remotes. Those were not a huge deal to us, so that is why we gave it a five star. The location was absolutely perfect. We would stay here again.
I started staying at Iron Horse before the numerical security system was installed. It has always sucked being locked out fumbling with my reading glasses, phone and wallet in the ice, snow and wind. I love skiing Mary Jane Mountain and am looking to stay in a ski in ski out condo next year that has a modern security system that does not threaten my security. Also, the refrigerator thermostat in 5064 needs replacement. It froze my lettuce?
