Wonderful And Peaceful Beach Apartment

Had an amazing time in Caberete and the appartment made it easy for everything, confortable beds, couches, fully stocked kitchen, balcony over looking the pool, 2 min stroll to beach, 5 to 10 min stroll from bars and restaurants. Just wanted to stay longer!

We have been to Cabarete 2 times previously and this was our first time at Ocean One and this condo. We very much enjoyed this well decorated, spacious, and well kept modern condo. The location is good. Just a few minute walk down the beach to the Serenade restaurant at the Villa Tania hotel, which is the first of many restaurants and bars along Cabarete beach. Going the other direction along the road, the Belgium Bakery is almost right across the road from Ocean One and going in the other direction within 4 or 5 minute walk is Concho Loco, Bliss, and just a bit further is Gorditos Mexican restaurant, which has great casual food, as well as next door is the Burger Joint, which has some great burgers if you want some casual food. Just another 4 minute walk is La Rosa's supermarket. Which is not quite as large or has as much variety as Janets, but met most of our needs including Liquor. Across the road from Gorditos, down the 'Antennae Road' is the Bayrischer Hof German Restaurant. Very good food! Some of the other favorites were Don Alfredo `Papi's`, Pomodoros (very good Italian food and pizza), Claro's close to Janet's Supermarket for breakfast, (not to be confused with Claro the cell phone company). Stay away from Miro's.... looked interesting.. but we couldn't be served...super slow.. and there was never anyone there. There are two banks close by which we used both the ATM and the tellers to exchange money. If yu are from Canada, A few places will take Canadian dollars and youo can exchange at the banks. We also took some US dollars and used the ATM to take out Pesos. This condo was great. We made great use of the large balcony. We met the owners, Mario and Maria, who were very nice and accommodating. Over all it was a very fantastic experience and a great place to stay in Cabarete..... Thanks Mario and Maria!!
