Vermont: Whispers of Nature, Echoes of History
Vermont, nestled in the heart of New England, is more than just a landscape. It's a symphony of verdant mountains, sparkling lakes, and charming villages, where history whispers from every weathered barn and cobblestone street. Here, stories etched in maple syrup and maple sugaring buckets blend with the echoes of Revolutionary heroes and pioneer spirit.
Embrace the Rhythm of Nature:
Hike through a tapestry of fall foliage, vibrant with reds, oranges, and yellows. Breathe in the crisp mountain air and feel the crunch of leaves beneath your boots.
Ski Vermont's legendary powdery slopes in winter, carve fresh tracks across untouched snow, and warm up by crackling fireplaces in cozy lodges.
Paddle serene lakes and kayak meandering rivers in summer, spot elusive loons and osprey, and feel the sun-kissed warmth on your skin.
Bike scenic country roads in spring, past blooming apple orchards and fields bursting with wildflowers, the scent of maple mingling in the air.
Discover a Tapestry of Stories:
Explore charming towns like Manchester and Woodstock, where colonial architecture whispers of bygone eras, art galleries, and antique shops brim with treasures.
Walk in the footsteps of Revolutionary heroes at Bennington Battle Monument, and imagine the thunder of musket fire echoing through the hills.
Visit Shelburne Farms, a haven for agriculture and sustainability, learn about cheesemaking traditions, and taste award-winning cheddar produced on-site.
Immerse yourself in the vibrant arts scene of Burlington, catch a musical performance in an intimate theatre, or browse vibrant local art galleries.
Taste the Soul of Vermont:
Savor farm-to-table cuisine crafted with love, indulge in maple-glazed donuts still warm from the oven, and sip apple cider pressed from local orchards.
Fuel your adventures with craft beers made with pure Vermont water and locally sourced ingredients, and each sips a story.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is very nice - has everything you need. Cozy but not overstuffed with furnishings so it feels very airy with views out over the farm. The horses, dogs and wild turkeys (!) were a treat for grandkids. Very convenient to Burlington, Winooski and Lake Champlain. Will definitely stay here again.
We are always glad to stay at the farm! We arrived late this past weekend and for the first time in many visits the front door was locked. It was no big deal to ask our hosts to let us in. It is always a familiar, convenient and easy stay. Thanks Dawn and George
Loved the Sarah Richards prints. She has a gallery in our home town. Visiting the stables was relaxing. Short trip to hiking and downtown Burlington
The studio at the horse farm was perfect for my husband and I for a motorcycle riding get away. The farm setting was lovely and the space had everything we needed. The neighborhood was great for our morning walks. We enjoyed strolling the grounds and visiting the horses. My only suggestion is maybe a shelf in the bathroom, or a hook behind the door.
Great
Nice place out in the country and a short drive to burlington
We always enjoy our stay at the farm. We have seen a few nice changes in the room, some new paint on the cabinets and a nice couch too. The location is ideal for us as we have family in the area and like the proximity to Mallets Bay.
This VRBO property was perfect for our visit to the Lake Champlain area. The hosts were available when needed and very gracious and helpful. This pet friendly VRBO perfectly situated close to Burlington and the Champlain Islands. We will surely stay here again.
We enjoyed the stay in this nice apartment located in a beautiful environment for a very pleasant stay!
Very comfortable and quiet VRBO on a horse farm. This was a unique and convenient property for day trips to the Vermont mountain area or Lake Champlain Islands. Hosts were friendly and helpful.
We very much enjoyed our stay. Visited the barn a couple of times, and being a former horse owner, I was impressed with the entire operation. Didn't get to meet the owners, but met one of the stable hands and a few of the horse owners. The unit was very nice, comfy bed and a ridiculously comfortable leather chair in the living area. Thank you!!
it was in a nice quite area close to my family we were visiting. lovely property. would be nice if they had a ceiling fan were bed is wouldn't have had to use ac at night. Would stay again
Very Good
George and Dawn are lovely host. Our apartment had everything we need including coffee. We were able to talk with some of the trainers who were working with the horses and learn more about what they were doing. We also met the two lovely Golden Retrievers. Will definitely stay again.
This beautiful studio is everything two people would need. It was quite and peaceful walking around the horse farm. We brought dog who loved playing with Dawn’s and George’s golden. Will definitely rent this place again when we visit my son and his family.
We were in town due to a family illness. George and Dawn were VERY accommodating and helpful through a difficult time. Kitchen was stocked with necessities, bed was comfortable, beautiful property and horses which were restorative after long days. Thanks so much!!
