Felt the advertising was a little misleading. It states sleeps 8. One of the bedrooms is very small. The additional bed was a blow up bed that we had to ask for. There really wasn't a private spot to place the bed in. It also advertised air conditioning. They are window units that weren't in yet. Two days were in the 90s. We asked for them to be put in, but they weren't. Luckily, we were out on the water both of those days.
Hosts were super nice and flexible. The property is lovely with a well-appointed kitchen and comfy beds. The unit we rented was on the second floor of a gorgeous old nicely renovated building. The small AC unit in the kitchen was quite loud and the cool air had trouble reaching into the bedrooms, but there were portable fans available and they helped direct the air. There are also ceiling fans in the larger bedrooms, which is great. The couches are comfortable, and we enjoyed the large assortment of games available in the pantry! Loved the mud room with laundry (though we didn’t need it, it’s a nice benefit). Just down the hill is a lovely path to enjoy walking in Brewster Gardens. Walking to downtown is a breeze-perfect location! Thanks for a great stay!
My husband, two teen daughters and I stayed here during a trip to see the east coast and we couldn’t have been happier. The 2nd floor was exactly as advertised. Three bedrooms, two full baths, very nice kitchen, and entrance with washer and dryer. It was clean and had an air conditioner in the kitchen that worked well. We walked all over Plymouth easily from this location. We also drove and took in Salem, Boston, the Cape, and Newport. Bob was very polite and willing to help us out in any way we needed when we had car issues. I’d highly recommend this property or one of the other two floors.
We used this home as our base, visiting family several towns over. It was a perfect location for walking into Plymouth to eat or have dessert. The home was clean, and the walk-up was not too cumbersome. I would stay here again.
It is located in a quaint little town and it has everything. The only remark is that the steps of the staircase are half the size of a normal staircase but it should be fine for young people.
We really enjoyed this accommodation. We were my husband and myself, and granddaughters 14 and 7 And small pup princess. The apartment was very clean and well appointed, Beautiful decor and felt traditional yet with all the modern conveniences . Bathrooms were beautifully up-to-date. The beds were comfortable… we had a couple of hot days and the AC worked just fine. We take short showers so we had no problems of the hot water running out with four of us bathing/ showering consecutively… We touched base with bob a few times and he was wonderful and responsive immediately. The one slightly negative thing for us is that the stairway to the second floor apartment is steep with very narrow steps so that my seven-year-old granddaughter’s foot barely fit on the step and we needed to walk sideways on them … there were rails on both sides thank goodness …so if you have concerns about climbing and down narrow stairs I would think twice about this choice.
Everything went seamlessly upon arrival. Apartment recently redone. New paint, floors, appliances, etc. It's immaculate. We would highly recommend this spot. Two minor points ... 1) Sleeping 6 in beds would be fine if 2 of the 6 were children who shared the full size bed. Sleeping 6 adults in beds would be tough. 2) The stairs from the parking area up to the apartment are tight and steep. Older folks might struggle with them.
First time using vbro and bringing my brother and sister in law from Thialand so I was worried. The experience started with a nice message that made me more relaxed. The property was amazing and well stocked. The beds were so comfortable. Small problem with the door code and I hated calling the manager but was pleasantly surprised by his kindness. This property was walking distance to every thing. We all just loved it
This property is super cute. Well appointed. Full kitchen. A dishwasher that actually works. Full size fridge. Washer and dryer in entryway. Two full bathrooms with tub and shower. Our family of five had plenty of room to sleep, and we didn't even make use of the daybed in the entryway: our son slept in a full bed, our two daughters in a queen, and my hubby and I slept in another queen. Plenty of room for all. So convenient to the downtown. Less than s 5 minute walk. And you could, technically, walk to Plimoth Plantation from this VRBO. We didn't because part of the trip would be on a busy road. But it's seriously that close to everything. It's a 7 min drive to Plimoth Plantation. Grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants nearby. Very convenient. Bob and Cheryl were super. We had a heat crisis during our stay, and, once we determined it was a problem with the heating system and not just my understanding of the thermostat, they sent a repairman out right away! Their sweet daughter met the repairman at the VRBO while we were out and it was fixed and toasty by the time that we returned. Thanks, Bob and Cheryl! The only thing to keep in mind in regards to this property is that it is on the top floor, and another rental is below you. But even with three kids (who like to dance...and practiced violin almost daily!), we didn't get any complaints about our level of noise. But we did try to be mindful! :-) Great property! Would highly recommend it!
Could have been a tad cleaner and for 6 of us there was never enough hot water for all to shower. Owner was very good, always responding quickly to questions we had or delivering things we needed like paper towels or toilet paper. There were 4 chairs at the bar in the kitchen and two stools. I would duggest 2 more chairs instead of stools as they were hard to eat from or play games. Overall a good place to stay and would recommend.
