Stayed Mar 19, 20225 minutes walking to downtown La Fortuna. Very clean, safe. Alexandra & Andres we’re very gracious & kind & had decorated the apartment with hand made flowers. It was very clean, every worked really well, beds were super comfortable. Andres was great as he organized our tours for us as well & we were picked up from the apartment by the tour guides. I would highly recommend this place.

Stayed Feb 2, 2020We really enjoyed staying at Roomies! Andres and his family are wonderful and are so friendly! They really wanted to make sure we enjoyed our visit and had everything we needed. The rooms are large and spacious and well laid out. A nice added bonus was Netflix! It was great just kicking back and watching a movie after a long day of hiking!! We would highly recommend staying here and would not hesitate coming back!

Stayed Jul 4, 2019My family of 4 stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed La Fortuna, Volcan Arenal and the surrounding area. The roomies apartment was just the right size for our family at a great rate. There is a grocery store in walking distance but we found that we liked another grocery store in town better. We had rented a car so had that option. My family alternated between VRBOs and Marriott hotels - the VRBOs allowed us to see more about the culture and explore more of the country, but obviously were not as luxurious as the Marriotts. Andres was responsive and helpful with our questions. I have some recommended improvements to share with Andres as this seems to be a new rental, but nothing too concerning.
