Everything at this place was wonderful! The location was very private. The beach access was easy, and Evan provided plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, and shark teeth hunting tools. This is definitely the ideal spot for peace and relaxation!

My teenage daughter and I had an excellent stay. Evan has done some upgrades to the inside of the property since the photos were taken, so it looks better in person. The beach was nice and private with only a few friendly neighbors out on any given day and there were plenty of shark teeth to be found.

This was a last-minute booking. The host was very helpful with questions I had before the booking and then the check-in process. I really enjoyed my stay at Evan’s place on Manasota Key. From the beautiful landscape as you first arrive to the clean suite and access to the private gulf ocean beach just 20 or so steps from your front door. I had access to beach chairs, umbrellas, floats, shark‘s tooth hunting gear and stand up paddle boards and kayaks. I have some amazing pictures of beautiful sunsets. I collected a bunch of shells and sharks teeth. I have great pictures of a flame box crab hanging out on the beach. I explored across the street on the Bayside, where the kayaks are located. The stand up paddle board was a lot of fun and easy to carry to the beach. We have great pictures of a dolphin who was pretty close to us and the water was crystal clear you could see everything. I recommend a stay here and I will definitely be returning soon. I feel like two days is not enough time to enjoy all this location has to offer.

Simple clean and direct access to the best shark youth hunting beach in the country

We had a wonder stay on the beach. Property was clean and all amenities met our needs. Plenty of beach umbrellas and chairs. Can’t wait to come back!

We only stayed for a couple of nights, but loved the apartment and location. Clean, newly renovated post hurricanes (fall 2024), we had everything we needed. Even though this apartment is on the lower level of a larger house where the owner resides, it is very private, easy entrance. Evan was amazing, super responsive host! Good luck with renovations and the recovery efforts on Manasota Key!!

We went for a little weekend getaway. It was just what we needed. Small, quaint little place literally on the ocean! The beach is so quiet and peaceful and more shells than you can ever imagine!!! We would definitely go back!

An amazing oasis on the beach. The vrbo has everything you need to sleep and rest up, but this is really about the proximity to the beach, the surrounding lush greenery, and beach amenities (hammock, beach chairs, umbrella, kayaks, the 1000+ year old banyan tree, proximity to englewood dinning on the beach, dolphins swimming by at 9am every morning). Evan is very communicative and a great host. Just be sure to read all fo the descriptions so you are not surprised by anything (not a full kitchen and not a view of the beach from the house, but a few steps away and your on the beach - bring your bug spray).
