Washington DC Apartment at Rock Creek Park!

The unit was comfortable and well located for our needs. Having the EV charger was also a plus. The gate entry code device could be better lit at night, but the flashlight function on our phones solved that issue.

Property was super cute and as described. It is in the basement of a home so you will hear some noise of the owners above. But relatively early in the night the noise over head ceased. It was a non-issue for us. Great neighborhood. Extra bonus—there is a single parking spot near the entry point to the flat. Convenient to shops and public transport. Beds super comfortable. Kitchen was tiny but perfect. Everything we needed. Would highly recommend.

Very clean apartment in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect for our 3-day stay in Washington DC.

Centrally located, we saw EVERYTHING in DC and nothing. Was over 20 minutes away. Perfect for a small family vacation. Even if you don't want to venture to central DC plenty to do mount pleasant.

Perfect last minute find for our family. Able to do some laundry and cook breakfast at home.

It was a good stay over all but I traveled will a family member with bad knees and in the apartment the sud-floor was uneven and led to the knee pain and the floors pulling up and leading to cuts on the feet. There where only 4 people (56 to 15) and it was a little crowded but it was cheaper and larger than a hotel to if the tiny things do not bother you this is a great place to stay.

This unit has everything that you could need for a trip to DC. Located in a very cool neighborhood with views of nature outside the door but right in the heart of a city neighborhood. We easily walked to a cafe and enjoyed a delicious lunch and to a market for essentials. The off street parking was a huge plus. The unit is outfitted with so many conveniences from kitchen tools and appliances to coffee/tea/creamers/sweeteners to several different charging cords that would work on a variety of tech products as well as noise machines/night lights in the bedroom. The living room/dining are was very comfortable as were both the bedrooms. The bathroom has all the essentials. There is an in unit washer/dryer and TV that we did not use but is available. Keep in mind that the listing mentions that people live upstairs and that is definitely apparent due to the age of the home. I would absolutely consider staying here again. Thank you for making our trip so much easier and comfortable.

This apartment was exactly what we were looking for! Very nice, quiet neighborhood, with tree-lined streets and a dedicated parking spot, but close to food restaurants and shops.The owner Asem was super responsive and checked in to be sure we had everything we needed. The apartment was also spotless.The only down side was that one of the sleeping spots is a trundle bed, and if the mattress underneath is pulled out, you can’t really walk in the room at all. We solved this by just bringing the 2nd mattress out to the roomy living room.It really is a lovely place, and we will definitely be back!

My stay was absolutely perfect! The home was spotless and had all the amenities I needed. The host was incredibly friendly and quick to respond, making check-in and communication seamless. The location was great for our needs; very close to the zoo and to family we are visiting. Highly recommend this place.

We wanted a quick getaway from Hampton Roads for part our Spring Break. We have friends that live in Mt Pleasant so we were familiar with the location. It’s easy to get to, and having a dedicated parking spot from the back alley was super convenient. Having a guest concierge available by text was a bonus. The listing clearly stated that the family lives in the house, and if you are not familiar with these 100 year old houses, they aren’t particularly quiet. That being said, we were very comfortable, the place was nice and clean and perfect for a few days stay. I had to learn how to use a French press coffee maker which is luckily very simple! If you are using a rideshare app, make sure you drag the pickup pin to the back alley and be sure to message or call your driver so they know where you are. We will certainly stay here again next time we visit!

Apartment was charming and cozy. An excellent space in a safe neighborhood from which to explore D.C! Beds were comfortable and it was way more convenient and affordable than staying in a nearby hotel during tourist season! Property manager was helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend.

Loved our stay. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet while also being walkable and convenient to lots of public transportation. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and attractive. We'll definitely stay here again on future DC trips!

My husband, 14 year old, 11 year old and myself stayed here this past week. It was a great setup for the 4 of us. The master bedroom is very spacious and the guest room was perfect for our kids. The host has disposable earplugs for all the guests, a usb cord with all types of chargers connected, extension cord with many outlets and usb plugs, blankets in each of the closets and tower fans and sound machines in each room as well! In the bathroom, though small, it is fully equipped with soap/shampoo/conditioner. I loved the extra touch of having travel size Neutragena face wipes available too! There’s a full first aid kit in the bathroom and a hair dryer under the sink. I was overly impressed with this unit! The only con I thought of were the light coming in from the windows (blackout shades would’ve been nice but not completely necessary). Overall, we really enjoyed this place and would highly recommend it! It’s a bit of a drive to DC but Uber worked just fine! (We walked to the front side of the house each time for the Uber to find us since it is a bit confusing for drivers). Average cost was about $20 one way from the house to DC (capital/Smithsonian's/ touristy areas. The money you save by not staying in the city, you may spend on Uber ;)

This property was a nice home away from home. It was very clean and was supplied with lots of necessities such as detergent, spices, bathroom extras. There is a parking spot and we were able to park our Chevrolet Full sized double cab truck, it was tight, but we managed it! We felt very safe in the lovely neighborhood and its location was very convenient! Definitely would stay there again.

We were in DC to visit family. The unit was perfectly located for us. Questions we had were responded to quickly. It was nice to have off street parking. We'd certainly stay there again.

My daughter and I spent a couple of days in DC visiting our favorite places. This apartment was perfect for us. Very nice inside and a great location!

Fantastic English basement in a wonderful neighborhood. Very comfortable accomodations and great artwork.

Great area, nice walking area, close to the zoo and great restaurants.
