Listing was deceiving. It says pet friendly with a yard…but they failed to mention it was a shared yard. They also failed to mention pets aren’t allowed on furniture. We found that out upon arriving when we read the guest guidelines. This place is maintained at the cheapest possible price. The toilet paper, sheets, blankets, and towels were all thin and poor quality. The bed and pillows were also poor quality and extremely uncomfortable. The mattress protector under the sheets was extremely stained. The futon mattress under the sheet was also extremely stained. Hooks were broken off of the bathroom door so there’s nowhere to hang your towel during a shower. The shower is also so incredibly small. If you’re over 5 foot tall, you won’t fit under the shower head. It’s a cool location so it’s a shame this place isn’t being properly maintained.

This was a really unique find, right near downtown area. So many great shops and lovely park area. We even took the train, that was just a couple blocks away, into DC for the day! Mind you, the sound of the trains can be heard, but didn't disturb me. I actually enjoyed listening to them. My bed was very, very comfortable and was very pleased with everything offered. The host was quick to respond and very helpful!

This place is really cozy. It’s on the main drag and just blocks from my favorite pizza place. You’re next door to a market for fast supplies if you need. The host is amazing and very communicative. He responded very quickly for the few questions I had. My only suggestion is to bring a sound machine. You’re right near the tracks and a train station. It’s not bad, but you can hear it, so if that would bother you, you may want to have one. There are charging cables provided next to the bed and couch. So, if you choose to use your phone for white noise, you’re covered. Parking is on street, but passes are provided so you can find a close spot and not worry about ticketing. Which is good, because where you are, you can pretty much walk to everything Downtown. I will stay here again the next time I come into town to visit my kid at college. It’s the perfect place to stay.

This was a great base for exploring Fredericksburg, DC, and surrounding vineyards. The space was well thought out and maximized for comfort. There were separate levels for relaxing (ground floor), cooking (2nd floor), and sleeping (3rd floor). It was hot but the airconditionets kept us cool. And I got a great nights sleep in the bed. Out of all the places ive rented, i ha e to give this an A+ because the owner was thoughtful enough to supply all kinds of amenities in the bathroom (normal) and the kitchen (olive oil, spices, to go cups, k-cups, etc.). This is definitely a better option than a hotel!
