Everything was wonderful! The property was in a perfect spot close to the water, attractions and dining with everything in walking distance. The owners were quick to reply with any inquiries and were generous in providing supplies. I hope to be back with my family again soon. Absolutely loved it!
The house was perfect! Its location was perfect to take a walk into downtown Mystic. Close to restaurants and shopping. A short drive to Old Mystic Village. The house itself was clean and had all you needed. The host were easy to contact, helpful and welcoming! Cannot wait to return!
Anthony and Kelly were very accommodating hosts and were available if we needed help. The house was very well equipped with everything we might need for our stay. Beds and furniture were very comfortable. The location was outstanding. Shops, restaurants and museums were a short walk from the property. We would rent again.
Close to downtown Mystic. Loved sitting on the porch!
Easy to walk to the downtown area as well as the Seaport. Beautiful old home that is very well maintained. The porch is great and the inside was very clean. The beds were comfy and the AC and ceiling fans kept us cool. We got to explore and spend time with our family at their vrbo’s and attend a great wedding at a farm. The hosts provided us with great amenities. We were very comfortable and got to watch our Patriots on Sunday! Thank you for a great stay,
We had a lovely time. Our host was very hospitable.
This rental was clean, comfortable and exactly what we needed for a quick long weekend in Mystic. Perfect two bedrooms and large living space for relaxing. We could walk to the Seaport (literally steps away) and downtown. The aquarium and additional shopping and restaurants were 3 minutes by car. The rental is on a relatively quiet street and the walk to downtown is quick, safe and scenic. I'd highly recommend if you are staying in Mystic.
It is a very nice , clean apartment. It is quite spacious. We had everything we needed. Questions were answered promptly and Anthony even welcomed me with a local candy bar and card. I would absolutely recommend this listing. It is so close to town, everything is in walking distance.
Nice quick getaway - beautiful setup, super easy to check in, very nice people!
What a beautiful place to stay and enjoy what this quaint area has to offer. Proximity to all is super convenient with a sense of home and serenity at night. Due an illness we were blessed to be able to extend our stay one more day and our hosts could not have been more accommodating as well as expedient in responding to our plea. Do yourself a favor and consider this property for a wonderful stay in Mystic!
Came to town to see our daughter for Parents Weekend at the Coast Guard Academy. The house was just perfect.
This property is perfectly located with an easy walk to downtown Mystic and easy access to the Mystic Seaport! Amazing for guests of weddings at Latitude 41!
To be honest, when looking for a place to stay in Mystic, I was a little skeptical about this listing. Apartment, with someone living upstairs didn't sound very good. I did like the fact that it was so close to the real part of Mystic, and am so glad I did book it The apartment is very clean, well maintained and attractively designed. Towels and bed linens are of high quality, and the home is supplied with everything you could possibly need, The two bedrooms were perfect for my friend and I. though it would be great for two couples or a couple with children. We are seniors, and it was an easy walk to the downtown area. Mystic Seaport Museum is right around the corner. Great meals at Go Fish and Steak Loft at Old Mistick Village, about a mile away. We went to Speedwell Theater, which was a 45 minute drive to East Haddam. Great place! Owners, Anthony and Kelly were very kind and helpful, but not intrusive. We consider this to be one of our favorite places, and of course definitely our favorite hosts! We do plan on coming back at some point. maybe sooner than later.
This is the entire first floor of a very old house (1903) formerly owned by a Velvet Weaver. The entrance and driveway are private. It has been renovated and was very pristine and clean when we arrived. There were kayaks for our use, paddles and life jackets. We went kayaking three times during our week's vacation on the beautiful Mystic River. There are boats being built and repaired right next door in the Mystic Seaport Museum, where you can tour and see how the work is done. The Mayflower II was being worked on while we were there. Mystic does not really have swimmable beaches (too much seaweed), but a short (20 min) car ride away is Watch Hill and other Westerly ocean beaches that are lovely. Mystic has great restaurants and shopping. We bicycled to Esker Point on Rt. 215, which was a decent ride. Mostly we just walked around and took pictures of boats (sailing schooners and yachts) and the lovely waterways.
It was a fabulous location and the hosts were extremely accommodating to all our needs!!! We loved the home we stayed in and it was very clean. It truly was a home away from home. Thank you again, Barb and Bill
With a perfectly central location to all the Mystic activities, a spotlessly clean environment with excellent amenities, a wide front porch with peek-a-boo river view and the use of kayaks for early morning serenity, this quintessentially historic New England home is easily the best value in Mystic. Thanks for sharing!
Me and two of my friends rented this amazing property in Mystic. We were within walking distance to the Mystic Seaport Museum and many shops and restaurants in downtown Mystic. We loved sitting on the front porch having our coffee in the morning and cooking many of our dinners on the grill. We would definitely stay there again.
