Villa Martina - Magnolia apartment, in the outbuilding of a prestigious Villa

We had a magical stay at Villa Martina and would highly recommend it as a wonderful place to base yourself on Ischia. Augusto, Eva and Enzo are a lovely, caring family and they went out of their way to make sure that we were very well taken care of including driving us to the supermarket when we first arrived (we decided not to hire a car as we have a 10 month old baby), picking us up in a heavy downpour when the roads had turned into rivers (not ideal for a pram!) and their general day-to-day interaction was a fantastic bonus to our stay! The accommodation itself is comfortable, we slept well and were easily able to self cater with the provisions provided (the dishwasher was an added perk). As for the grounds, they are stunning - you have free use of a lovely pool area with views out across the bay (which reminded us of stays at SLHs, pre baby!). The Villa is within easy walking distance to a couple of supermarkets, Panza is a nice, working Italian village about 15 mins walk away (with restaurants) and it is about a 5 minute walk to a bus stop - which for us was the key to exploring the island. The buses were safe, regular and it was easy to access the beach (including Poseidon thermal baths), Forio, Santo Angelo (a lovely village - the Capri of the island) and Ischia Port (this was the furthest we ventured and took about 40 minutes. It was a memorable stay and we were lucky that there was availability for our dates. The family truly deserve the 5 stars.

We had a great time at villa Martina. Augusto, Eva and Enzo went above and beyond for us helping with car rental in advance and information on the ferry and many other things. They made us delicious supper on our last night! The place is beautifully maintained and clean. And for the environmentally conscious the entire place runs on geothermal and solar power even the heated pool! Do not hesitate. The pictures look great but its even better in real life.

My husband and I just spent few days holiday at Villa Martina - Ischia island -. Stunning villa with awesome views. Beautiful swimming pool (15x8m,). Apartment well equipped. All comfort you can expect for your staying. Eva, Augusto and their son Enzo, are always there ready to help you and give you good hints for marvelous plans. To be honest, we will always remember Villa Martina and will always recommend it for a super staying at Ischia island. Ischia island is worth visiting: so many places to discover! Our coup de cœur . Congrats to Eva, Augusto and Enzo for being so helpful and nice with us during all these days. We know we'll be back soon!

This is a magnificent property in Forio, a quieter part of Ischia. The room was excellent with a fine bed, full kitchen and very nice bathroom. The host and his family were wonderful. We loved the pool area. We had a rental car and got to all the places we wanted to: Castello, Madonna of Zora, beach near Barona. We found nearby restaurants in Forio and always had great meals and leftovers. Grocery is very nearby. What else could you want?

Our stay went beyond our expectations! We'll be back for sure!!! The location was ideal for us and easy to the bus line when needed. The hosts were extra special. Augusto's advance communication from initial inquiry through booking and arrival was excellent & prompt. They gave us great guidance for our stay in Naples upon our departure too. Any time we spent with the hosts was a delight!

My husband, two teen daughters and I stayed at Villa Martina in the Magnolia apartment for 4 nights in mid-August. The villa is located in Panza, between Forio and Sant'Angelo. It's a 5-minute walk to the main road, where there is a grocery store and the bus stops. It's quite easy to get around using the buses. What a beautiful place! The apartment has a spacious kitchen and dining room area with a Murphy bed, a separate bedroom, and a well-equipped bathroom. Outside on the patio, we had our own seating area, dining table with 4 chairs, and clothes rack. The bedroom had air conditioning, which made it quite comfortable. There was access to a washing machine for guests. The property has a heated in-ground pool surrounded by lounge chairs, a table under a gazebo, and a seating area for 10, all overlooking the Mediterranean. It was wonderful to have a swim every day. The nightly sunsets were magical! Our hosts Augusto, Eva and their son Enzo were extremely gracious and charming! They were helpful in every way to make our stay very pleasant. Every morning, we awoke to delicious pastries delivered to our dining table on the patio, which was a very lovely touch. Having a morning cappuccino and pastry outside was a relaxing way to start the day. We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Martina and wish it could've been longer. We would return without hesitation.

Our experience at Villa Martina was unexpectedly wonderful! The property was pristine, tranquil, and removed from the hustle and bustle of the island. Augusto, Eva, and Enzo were kind and generous hosts that went out of their way to ensure that our family had a good time. The rooms were immaculate, the gardens beautiful, and the view breathtaking. We wished we had more time at Villa Martina. And when we left, it felt like saying goodbye to family. This is a rare gem that is perfect for two small families traveling together. I could not recommend this highly enough.

Our stay on Ischia was made more perfect by our accommodations. We stayed atVilla Martina a beautiful property with immaculate grounds, wonderful swimming pool and incredible hosts. Our apartment was behind the main villa where the owners/hosts live. The unit was part of a collection of 4 units with independant entrances. There were other guests and the owners and their family were often on site, but at no point did we feel a lack of comfort or privacy! Augusto and Eva and their son were a fantastic family that very quickly became part of our family and vice versa!! We enjoyed an evening bbq with them on property, were able to enjoy the pool and grounds at our leisure and they were always ready with advise and suggestions about visiting Ischia! We hope to stay there again in the future!! If you are looking for a great location, beautiful view, clean unit and grounds, you need look no futher!!
