Villa Elloise's Apartment with Luxury Private Pool in Mondello

Villa Elloise’s apartment is a relaxing oasis for groups of friends or family of all ages. This open-plan loft is placed at the top of a whitewashed two-storey villa located in a quiet street within the sought after area of Mondello. It’s luminous, well aired, attractively furnished and enviably positioned and has everything you need to live at best your holiday in Sicily

Something about the flat

- Two beautifully designed bedrooms all stylishly furnishedwith king size beds, air conditioning, safe and tv. Bed linen provided.
- The stone-work & marble bathroom has a spacious mosaic shower, a big wash basin with large mirror, wc, bidet and a storage cabinet with extra toilet roll. Good quality set of towels, bathroom essentials and hair dryer provided.

- The flat’s open-plan kitchen is very practical and is equipped with everything you would find in your own home. Flatware, table linen and appliances including dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle and orange squeezer. You will find also some essentials for cooking such as Sicilian extra-virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, lemons and spices and also cleaning products underneath the kitchen sink.
The washing line is behind the flat’s terrace while iron board and iron are kept in one of the closets on the terrace.

- The open-plan living room has floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the space and the view is absolutely magnificient! This part of the house offers glorious panoramic views over Mondello bay, the sacred Montepellegrino and part of the picturesque Palermo cityscape. It’s bright, comfortable and zippy and you will love it!

This area has a three-seater couch and two big armchairs where you can relax reading one the many books available or simply listening to your favourite music.
The couch is large enough for sleeping if needed.

- The flat has its own private terrace which is furnished with a 6 person table and chairs and a large umberella to shield you from the sun.


Somothing about the swimming pool

The 17 meter infinity pool is the real gem of this property: it’s set in a sunny paved terrace filled with sun chairs and sun beds and it’s surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers and a has a fantastic view of Mount Gallo.
A great place to sit back and relax while catching some hot Sicilian sunshine.

Unlike any other ordinary swimming pool in the neighbourhood, our pool has been built with the highest technology. It uses an innovative system which allows to enjoy swimming without the worries of high levels of toxins such as chlorine so it really has nothing standard about it! The pool is serviced every 3 days by a pool service company and the chlorine they use is minimum so your dyed hair won’t change color!

The pool area has been designed with great attention to detail: it has 3 elephant water jets and 2 jacuzzi jets on each side of the pool. As well as the outdoor bathroom with shower & changing room, guests can use the outdoor mosaic-décor shower hidden by the frangipani tree. The pool is open from 1st April to 31st October.

The outdoor dining area is positioned in the garden of the villa and features a built in kitchen with spacious black marble worktop, 2 hobs, 2 fridges, a large gas BBQ and a small coal BBQ that guests can also use. On the black marble top you have a few kitchen appliances such as microwave, electric induction hob, toaster, kettle, espresso coffee pot.
Table linen and flatware are kept inside the kitchen draws and cupboards.
Help yourself to the basics of cooking like Sicilian extra-virgin olive oil, salt & pepper.
The pool and outdoor kitchen area is shared with us, mostly at the weekend or late afternoons.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BOOK!

HOUSE RULES

- ON MONDAY FROM 9.30AM TO 11PM NO RUNNING WATER (due to an municipal ordinance)

- Due to the forgetfulness of previous guests electricity consumption is no longer included. You are due to pay the electricity bill at the end of your stay so just keep in mind that it is an environmentally bad practice to leave air-con & lights when you’re out, especially in Summer when there may be a power cut in the area.
When you arrive I will write down the Kwt number shown on the on the electricity meter behind the front door. On your check-out day please send me a pic of the meter so I can calculate how many Kwt you have consumed over your stay. 1 Kwatt is € 0,80 . The bill for a 7 night stay is approximately € 25/30,00

Please note that every person in your group must be included in the guest numbers so I don't exceed my maximum capacity of 5 people. I do not have a ‘children stay free' policy. Every person in your group must be included in the guest numbers, regardless of age. My policy is that guests of any age are charged the same amount.

-I'm usually flexible on check-in and check-out times unless I expect new guests arriving on your departure date, in this case I kindly ask guest to leave the room at check out time 10:00 am

We have 2 dogs living on the property so if you're scared of dogs or not keen on animals in general do us a favour, please DON'T book! Our dogs sometimes play in the garden after 8 pm so if this makes you feel uncomfortable find another place to stay :) Thank you

We have a ‘you break it, you buy it’ policy. We appreciate honesty so If you do break or damage something please let us know and don’t be oblivious about it because I will mention it in the review!

- The cleaning fee is for laundering blankets, sheets & towels and ironing and also the cleaning of the rooms, kitchen, bathroom ect…This fee does not include BBQ cleaning. You are more than welcome to use the BBQ during your stay but please don’t forget to clean the BBQ yourself especially the grills and bottom tray. Brillo pads, plastic gloves and BBQ cleaning brushes are kept underneath the sink in the outdoor kitchen.

- Please let me know in advance if you would like to use the BBQ.

- Just a small reminder…It is an environmentally wasteful and neglectful to leave lights on, please turn off all the lights in the pool area when you leave.

- In Summer please turn on washing machine and dishwasher after 19:00

- No visitors or people not included in original booking. Only guests are allowed to enter the villa and have use of pool.

- We expect an atmosphere of mutual respect. We are warm and friendly people and accommodating. We just ask that you respect the space as if it was your own. The apartment is private and fully at your disposal. Treat it as if you owned it: respectfully.

We have a ‘you break it, you buy it’ policy. If you break or damage something, please let me know and arrange for its replacement or repair.

I kindly ask parents to mind their kids with ice creams, chocolate and any sticky sweets because I would be very upset if my newly-painted walls/furniture got full of chocolate finger prints. Extra charge!

The four square lights at the sides of the pool are outdoor lights not seats! Do not stand or sit on them because getting them repaired is expensive and the bill is on you.

Please do not walk or stand (especially with shoes) on the white grills (swimming pool border). They have been fitted recently and we want to keep them clean.

- Return all keys and remotes. Be careful not to lose keys or gate beepers/remote control for the gate because we currently don’t have doubles, and getting them cut/copied is very expensive. Extra charge for lost keys & gate beepers. Lost, broken or not returned front door keys will incur a €150 replacement charge due to the cost of changing the locks. Please make sure you don’t lock yourself out of the flat either!

-We are not responsible for loss, damage or theft of valuables left unattended outside the apartment so make sure you don’t leave any belongings behind.
