The Space:

Villa Amill is a beautiful 2-bedroom apartment located in La Parguera, PR. Guests can enjoy nice restaurants, bars, boat rentals, and unique water tours. The apartment comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests and offers a shared swimming pool and one parking space.



Villa Amill is a 2 minute walk away from the “Plaza” where there is live music on weekends, close to bars, restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, Bio-Bay Tours, Scuba tours, and nightlife.



The property has a washer & dryer, a perfect amenity for an extended stay. Please know as you get closer to La Parguera you might encounter smaller/narrow roads, through some towns.



IMPORTANT NOTES:



FOR CHECK-IN: The check-in process at this property is a bit complicated in that the beeper for the parking gate can only be left inside the unit. That means that upon arrival, you will need to park outside the community, use the pedestrian entry panel to access the community and then walk to the apartment to get the parking remote and be able to park your car inside. Please keep this in mind before booking.



STREET NOISE: STREET NOISE MAY BE HEARD FROM THIS APARTMENT, ESPECIALLY ON THE WEEKEND (THURSDAY-SATURDAY), PART OF THE CHARM AND LIVELY ENVIRONMENT OF LA PARGUERA.





LIVING AREAS



Villa Amill features a spacious living area where the kitchen, dining table & living area all share the same space. There is a comfortable sectional sofa, and dining table for 4 guests and the living area sits next to the spacious open-style kitchen. The living area features, a TV, A/C, and a full-size bathroom. The property also has a private balcony. 





SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS



Villa Amill is a 2-bedroom apartment. The master bedroom features a queen-size bed, A/C, closet, and private bathroom. The 2nd bedroom offers a bunk bed with two full-size beds each, AC, and a closet.



PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY): We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.





KITCHEN



Villa Amill has a comfortable kitchen. The kitchen features everything you need for an extended stay; fridge, toaster, stovetop, coffee maker, and microwave. It also has a convenient opening toward the living/dining room. It also has a kitchen island that 4 guests can enjoy as a dining table and that can double as a workspace. 





GETTING AROUND & PARKING



Villa Amill includes one (1) assigned parking space. Renting a car is a must to get to/from La Parguera as there are many activities within 15 minutes of driving distance and the roads are easy to navigate. Also, Uber isn't readily available in the area.



Once settled in at Villa Amill, you will find everything that you will need a few steps away. At the town’s main square, you will find a lively atmosphere filled with food kiosks, live music, and beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea.

There are many things to do in La Parguera, Puerto Rico. This part of the island is best known for its great attractions, natural reserves, and its beauty in general.



La Parguera is a nature-lovers paradise with ample opportunities for snorkeling, diving, hiking, birdwatching, biking, and so much more. Here are our top picks that you will enjoy during your stay:



Explore the large selection of local restaurants. Some of our favorites include Moon’s bar & tapas, La Casita Seafood, Brújula, El Turrumonte, Papo’s pinchos/Frituras Clara & many more.

La Parguera in Lajas is a phenomenal destination for all things nature-related. There are mangrove reserves, nature reserves, and a bioluminescent bay, all of which combine for wonderful snorkeling & SCUBA.

Experience the magic of the Bioluminescent Bays, there are two in La Parguera. Here you can snorkel or swim as the dinoflagellates light up around you.

“Malecón” or the boardwalk is great to visit during the weekends. Great place for food, drinks, music, laughter & shopping too. 

Visit La Parguera Nature Reserve is one of the most biologically diverse ecosystems in Puerto Rico characterized by one of the most extensive and well-developed coral reefs on the island.

Kayaking and Paddleboarding are excellent ways to explore the mangrove channels of La Parguera Nature Reserve.  The waters are calm along the mangroves, and kayakers of all levels can enjoy the waters.

STARTER AMENITIES



At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay.



All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest.



We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:



- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)

- 3 garbage bags

- 1 roll of paper towels

- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)

- 1 dish soap

- 1 dish sponge

- A small amount of laundry detergent



Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.



Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.





HOUSE RULES



RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.



NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.



NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.



QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.



UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.



MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 6 adults/children at all times, including visitors.



OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.



TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.



TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.



SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.





CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES



Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.



If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.



If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.



Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you.





TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON



We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.



Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.

    Location A, parking A. The condo suited our needs. Close to restaurants, nightlife and bio tour. We drove to Cabo Rojo Beach, hung out at boquerón and came back with enough time to La Parguera to refresh and enjoy dinner and live music. I highly recommend this place for families.

    My family of four (2 adult children) enjoyed our stay at Villa Amill. The location was great! Easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go. Apartment was spacious, and 2 bathrooms was nice! Beds were comfy! Floors were a bit dusty, but everything else was clean. One of the sliding glass doors didn't lock, but I think that will be repaired quickly. AC was good! Chickens in the area wake up early, but we had an early fishing trip, so not much of an issue for us.

    The property was closed to the poblado, which means closed to downtown. Every day the town closes one street which is were everyone hangs out. There is restaurants, bars, and little stores that you can buy souvenirs. The only downside is that you can hear the water but no visible for a beach. Have to drive 15 or 25 minutes to the closest beach. Overall it was fun!

    The apartment was very nice. It has everything you would need if you wanted to cook a meal at home. If you leave any food out ants do come rather quickly which was the only part I did not like.

    Pros- Very comfortable, good location walking distance to downtown area. Cons- we stayed Mon-Thursday and nothing was open including stores and restaurants. No spices if you wanted to cook something and no hot water. If you want to watch tv you have to stream.
