Vila Monte Luz - 1, Great apartment for 2 persons, pool, directly by the sea in prime location

This was such a wonderful trip. Location was excellent, property was clean and facilities were amazing. The host was so so communicative and went above and beyond to help me get to the property when my flight was late. Would absolutely stay again. 10/10

What’s not to like?Location by a beautiful beach with an excellent cafe.Set privately behind electric gates this is a small complex of various apartments with communal facilities.It is ably managed by Sandra who loves her job and treats the place as her own. She speaks a variety of languages so always able to communicate.We loved our week here off season peace and quiet to recharge in the sunny days but close to the little town for shopping and cafes. Sadly most restaurants closed for holiday as the very “slow” season.

Sandra greeted us with the keys to the lovely one bedroom apartment showed us around inside was very bright and sparkling clean! The property overlooks the sea, steps down to the beach, restaurants all around walkable! Would definitely recommend and will return with family!!!

Nothing but GREAT things to say about this property. We stayed there for 4 weeks. 2 minute walk to great beach and restaurants, 15 minute walk to Market Square. The vila was clean, well-maintained, and well equipped for us. The wifi worked perfectly. Views from the large pool balcony was just outstanding.... exactly as shown in the listing. The property owner was excellent to work with; very responsive and so were staff very helpful in suggesting activities and trips. Can't say enough great things about this property!! Loved our stay in Portugal!

We stayed for a month. Service was excellent. Property was well kept. Location was superb, overlooking the beach, three restaurants and bars provided refreshments and food- excellent. Proximity to all venues in the Algarve, leaves nothing to chance. Will be back. The wicker bedroom furniture could be improved.

Well appointed and clean one bedroom apartment. The location and views are lovely.

Very secure little apartment within a group of 5, directly above a stunning beach. 2 restaurants very close by, one in particular serving marvellous tapas! Everything we needed was there, including iron and ironing board, loo roll, a washing machine, free Wi-Fi etc, and Sandra and Valentin were welcoming and lovely. Sandra was particularly marvellous when she had to drive all the way back because we couldn't work the key to the main gate! (Our fault)! Air conditioning / heating worked well, and the shower was forceful, controllable and hot. We could possibly have had a bath in the lovely big sink! Satellite TV was available, and our only niggle would be that all the programmes were in German except for Sky News - perhaps some channels for English speaking guests? Nonetheless, we were intrigued by Roisins Restaurants and My Perfect Dinner, even if we couldn't understand them!. Pool was pretty but too cold to use- solar heating might be an idea? The seagulls enjoyed swimming in it though! Terrace was also lovely, with a stunning view of the sea and the beach and plenty of furniture for guests. Ferragudo is a gorgeous fishing village, still very unspoilt, and we hired a car and had a lovely time exploring the Algarve - even though many historical sites were unfortunately closed. All in all a lovely holiday and a very clean, very safe, very practical little apartment to cone back to each evening; to sit on the terrace and watch the sunset with a good bottle of wine ...and a jumper on! (January 15th to 29th so chilly evenings but up to 19 degrees during the day, so no complaint there). Sooooo relaxed we didn't want to come home!

Absolutely fantastic, my wife and I, have had a few trips to Europe over the years and we would have to say, this is one of the best. Admittedly it is the off season,,,, 18 - 20 degrees beautiful sunny days. What can I say, We had the place to ourselves, quite, clean, warm, comfortable accommodation, beautiful outlook.
