Five days before arriving, we were given more details about the property's address, but not the apartment number, or its location in the building. We were given codes to the first two doors and a code to the key safe inside a mailbox, but, as it transpired later, we were given all the wrong codes. So I used Vrbo's messaging service to message the owners and ask for the apartment number. No response. Two days later, I asked again. No response. On the day we were due to arrive I sent a third request and tried calling (but reached voicemail, inevitably). I gave up and called Vrbo's customer service to ask for help. They also tried without success to contact the owners but left messages for them and promised me I'd hear from them soon. Sure enough, whilst sitting, stressing in the Eurostar terminal in London, we received a message from the owners addressed to somebody called Elizabeth (which is none of our names) giving us more details - and a completely different set of access codes to those listed in the official Vrbo website. But still no apartment number. I asked again and sought confirmation of which codes were correct. No response. To the owners: I appreciate you're probably busy, but not replying to any of my three messages over five days is not acceptable. I shouldn't have to call customer services to get you to tell me where your apartment is (and as it turns out, to give me the correct access codes). Good luck Elizabeth, whoever you are.

Clean, quiet, perfect location for our family.

Great location and close to 2 metro stops. We came across several street markets in this area and loved the proximity to Luxembourg Gardens. Twice we enjoyed breakfast at Angelina’s which is on the grounds of Luxembourg. We always felt safe in this area. The condo was perfect for our group of 6. Initially getting into the condo was a bit of a mystery. We felt like we were reading directions in an escape room lol, but we put our heads together and figured it out. The fridge is small but we ate out mostly. Also the ac unit is nice if you stand directly in front of it. It’s impossible for it to work as designed as it is a floor unit with ductwork that is supposed to push the hot air out of a window. The only problem is the windows are large and open horizontally. Still we made it work and it cooled us off a bit for hot July. Evenings were ok because temp is lower and each bedroom has nice large fans. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this condo.

This was a perfect place for 6 people, easy to get into. Easy to get around in town.

Perfect apartment for our family long weekend in Paris. Apartment is in a wonderful location. Host was great and let us drop our bags off so we could explore the city. Will definitely stay again next time we are in Paris!

The apartment is in a charming spot in Paris not too far from le Jardin du Luxembourg. It fits a group of five needing four separate rooms comfortably!!We contacted the host the first of three nights about a lack of sheets for the pullout couch bed but never got a response. It was very warm in Paris when we stayed and the AC units did not work well so we just used fans with the windows closed because they look out on a parking lot. This may be useful info for other visitors staying in the summer.

Nice property in good location. Was not hot when we were there so open windows was sufficient.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Family of 5, with teenagers, and felt really spacious for Europe. Even with the instructions, getting into the flat does take some figuring out, once you've done it once, it is easy. The window is on the ground floor, and opens onto a little private parking lot which may concern some people.

We loved staying here and liked the area that it was in. It’s a bit far of a walk to the major sightseeing but we enjoy walking so that was kinda intentional. The home was very clean and provided everything we needed. The check-in was well explained but the check-out was slightly unclear. I texted her and got that cleared up. Overall it was an excellent VRBO!!

Great place, excelent

Wonderful location and so quiet! Our group of 7 (3 adults and 4 kids) slept all night every night and had convenient access to multiple metro lines or could walk 20-30 minutes as an alternative to many major sights. A great street market nearby a couple days a week as well! The neighborhood around is wonderful to stroll through.The property had three beds and pull out couch that worked great for our group. The one bathroom had glazed doors for the shower and toilet so multiple people could occupy it at the same time. Highly recommend!

A very spacious 3 bedroom 1 bathroom flat in the heart of Paris, close to the metro, numerous restaurants, and shopping. What more could you want? Our only complaint is 1 bathroom was a bit tough for a family of 4, but we made it work. Highly recommended!

This was our first time to Paris and we loved our visit. The garden apt was spacious and really fit the needs of our family of 5. We felt very secure in the apartment. Thank you for letting us leave the luggage early on check-in day and late on check-out day. Thanks to helpful reviews, we figured out that we needed to use the key fob to unlock the main gate/doors. There are two outside gates that looks the same, you need to use the gate on the left to enter this apt. Overall we enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to visiting again!

Lovely apartment. Close to metro and many restaurants. Luxembourg garden is just minutes away.

Good location, close public transportation. Great unit with lots of space. Good security.

Big shared bathroom with 2 big basins, separate bath & shower. Good fans and portable air con were very welcome in the recent very hot weather. Great, quiet location, within a few minutes walk of Rennes & St Placide metro stations. Comfortable beds and decent sized rooms. Nice and quiet on -1 level but also has windows with daylight. No real views but that didn’t matter at all..

Overall, the place met our expectations! The location is awesome! It’s close to both the buses & metro lines and many restaurants. The amenities mentioned a washer & dryer but we did not see a dryer but it worked out hanging our clothes.

The location of this vrbo is amazing! We felt safe walking around during the day and at night. We were greeted by several residents who were all very friendly and helped us in and out of the vrbo, which can be confusing at first, but helps with the safety of the unit. There are great restaurants nearby! I recommend Georgettes (Saint Germain des Pres) and Monte Verdi (Saint Suplice) for great food that is beyond the local cafes. We walked to both! Luxembourg Gardens is within walking distance and definitely a must see. You can get crepes here. Maybe stop at a pastry shop and pick up a baguette, meat, and cheese for a picnic on the lawn? Or, bring some euros to sail a boat in the fountain area? The pastry shop near St. Placide metro station is also fantastic. We ate there most mornings before heading out to the different museums and venues for the Olympics. The bathroom was very large. I liked the door that separated the toilet and the two sinks. This helped with our family of 5 so we could all take care of our own needs. We struggled with the air conditioner and washer/dryer unit. I wonder if instructions could be left on how to use both of these to help future renters. There are fans in every room that were a huge support for sleeping and cooling off when we were hot from the July heat and humidity. We would recommend this unit to other renters and would definitely stay here again!
