Stayed Jun 25, 2023We picked this apartment because we needed parking for our rental car. If you need parking, this property was okay, but you can probably do better. If you don't need parking, you can definitely do better. It was clean, but many details were overlooked - reflecting that this is managed by a company called HomeTop, and the lack of pride you would get from a private owner was apparent. 1) Bed sloped to the middle; 2) No microwave that we could find 3) No tea towels or dish sponges to use, no paper towels either. 4) Much darker than in photo. 5) stark, not one piece of art on the walls. 6) Long walk to amenities.These are little things that make a difference when you want a home a way from home. But there were bigger issues. The first night we arrived after a long, tiring day of travel, I went to take a shower and within seconds the shower started filling up because the drain was clogged. I had to rinse off soap and shampoo and by the time I did, the base was filled with water and onto the floor. The company rep DID respond quickly and a plumber fixed the drain the next day. But then there was a washing machine - three adults had been traveling for a week and we really needing to do laundry. The door wouldn't open and two reps couldn't open it either. Their solution was to reimburse us for doing the laundry ourselves - as if we really want to drive around busy, congested Rome, which is unfamiliar to us, park and wait 1-2 hours in a laundromat? That is terrible customer service.
