Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed in Gabi's one bedroom apartment for two glorious weeks. The views of the mountains, provided from two picture windows in the living room, were unbelievably beautiful. The scenery was spectacular as the leaves were just beginning turn colour. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds very comfortable. Gabi was a gracious host and very helpful any time we needed her assistance. We thoroughly enjoyed the walking paths and gorgeous countryside. Loved hearing the cow bells tinkle and the church bells chime throughout the day. M&B, Ontario, Canada

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed in this lovely house with 15 high school students and a few parents from Delta, Utah USA. This is our second time stayin here, and have loved every minute of both stays. The house was perfect for us! The students found plenty to do including hiking, swimming, playing soccer, riding alpine slides in the area, and just relaxing. The house is very well kept and was cozy for everyone. We had pleasent meals in the porch together, and enjoyed the inside when it was raining. The views from and the location of this house are simply fantastic! Gabi is a great hostess and was very welcoming and attentive to all our needs. I would definetly recommend stayig here if you are in the area. We are already planning our next stay.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We, and another couple from Kansas arrived to the beautiful alps in Hinterstein. The accomodations were perfect! Everything was clean and well stocked. After a tour by Gabi {who was very, very helpful} we headed to the bakery and deli just down the street. The most friendly and helpful owner stocked is up on food and gave us pretzels as a welcome gift! Gabi can speak perfect English and directed us to the local restaurant at the foot of the alps. In the morning we had our coffee and hard rolls with wonderful butter and jam on the balcony. We watched the sun come over the alps and thought we were in Heaven. Glorious! After touring different parts of the are{Munich, Dachau, Neueschwanstein} we came home to a wonderful place to rejuvinate for the next day. We would highly recomend Gabi Haus for your vacation retreat. Thank you Gabi! Peter and Inge Hendler Wisconsin USA

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My husband and I and our two friends stayed in one of the apartments for a week in August. The apartment was spacious and clean with panoramic views of mountains and waterfalls, located in a peaceful idyllic village, with stunning surrounding areas. We arrived on 2 Harley Davidson motorbikes after travelling from England, to be greeted by Gabi and her husband. Gabi spoke fluent English, what a relief. On arrival both myself and my husband were unwell and Gabi did her utmost to help us to recover, supplying us with a heat pad for our chest and vitamin tablets. This was most appreciated and we soon began to feel better. They even moved their plant pots so that we could park the motorbikes undercover. We had many interesting conversations with our host and she gave lots of useful advice. We would all like to thank Gabi and her husband for making us so welcome and making our holiday so memorable. We would all like to return one day and would definitely recommend this accommodation and the hosts to family and friends.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My family stayed in this wonderful village over a long weekend. We used it as a base to explore the surrounding area, returning every evening to this truly quiet and gorgeous little village to rest and recharge for the next day. The place is surrounded on three sides by impressive mountains, waterfalls churning out of them in several places and loud enough--even a thousand feet away--to be heard from the apartment. Ever present as well are the Alpine flowers in the meadows that greet you as you approach Hinterstein, and the gentle tinkle of cow bells. The apartment is comfortable, with large windows giving you beautiful views from the living room, which lets out onto a deck. Gabi was very friendly, helpful. She spent some time after our arrival describing the area, activities, trails, restaurants--the feeling is that you are staying at a friend's house. The raw beauty of the area and the serenity of this village are hard to put into words. I was very satisfied with this visit and would definitely return.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My husband was ill the day we arrived - and during a holiday, of course - but Frau Soer was able to contact a local doctor for us. She also fixed her healthy porridge for my husband - she and her husband are both so kind and helpful. The village is small, but has several nice restaurants, and many beautiful walking trails. We particularly enjoyed going to the Jagerhaus and finding a traditional Bavarian band who played during lunch. The apartment was comfortable and had wonderful views. We hope to return someday and would definitely stay at Haus Gabi again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My family and me stayed here in summer 2008 (August). It was a fantastic stay in the Alps. Beautiful scenery, plenty of interesting hiking paths, good bus service to the near villages and towns for more montain hiking opportunities (e.g. Obersdorf), cosy village. Both mountain and valley hikinh opportunities. Nice small shop and bakery at hand round the corner. If you are nor from Germany, this is an ideal place to meet Bavaria and get acquianted with a new lifestyle, not like in your (at least not like in my) country. We were never bored, even in rainy days there was something to do - waterpark, picture taking opportunities in rain are plentiful. Advantages: spacy rooms and cosy house; very friendly and helpful hosts; paradise environment Disadvantages: none if you plan to come in summer or automn (but be on the lookout about the weather forecasts). We are very thankful to the owners for taking care of us and helping us to enjoy the stay. Me, my wife, and my son enjoyed the stay a lot.
