This 4BR apartment is on the 2nd floor of our duplex with a seasonal view of Lake Bde Mka Ska (Lake Calhoun) on a quiet residential street. It's light and airy with hardwood floors throughout. The 4 bedrooms each have a queen size bed. Central air conditioning. The kitchen has a brand new gas range and dishwasher and stocked with all your cooking essentials. There's a free washer and dryer available for your use in the basement laundry room. Fast wifi. Flat screen TV featuring Sling TV and Roku (which you can use to access your own streaming services, ie. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc) Plenty of on street parking available.
There is a security camera on the exterior of the house to deter package thieves and vandalism. There are no interior recording devices.

Uptown is the best neighborhood in Minneapolis, combining a host of outdoor activities and a vibrant business district. There's a wide variety of restaurants, bars, upscale grocery stores and shopping (both major retailers and local independent shops) as well as bike trails, walking and running paths, sailing, canoe, kayak, paddleboarding, swimming and cross country skiing all withing walking distance of the apartment.
Rated as one of the top most walkable neighborhoods in Minneapolis, yet minutes from downtown, Mall of America, US Bank Stadium, University of Minnesota and the Convention Center. With a city bicycle rental station down the street, you can enjoy 51 miles of paved trails that wrap around lakes and parks.

We were able to easily access the bike path, restaurants, grocery store, etc. we will be back.
The house is a beautiful classic place, very well decorated and appointed. Unfortunately, our locked car was stolen overnight while parked right in front of the property!! Liz was definitely very accommodating as we had to buy a new car on our checkout day, but even the cop we reported the theft to said it is becoming more common for drug addicts to steal cars like this – dirty and bang them up and leave all their drug needles/paraphernalia before they either crash or abandon the car. This is exactly what happened to us. So what started out looking like a nice neighborhood turned into a mini-nightmare of a stay. Again, no fault of the owners at all, but I have to go with only 4-stars since we definitely have to recommend either a steering wheel “club” (or locking wheel boot)
The house was clean, spacious, cozy and provided all needed toiletries and basic bathroom and kitchen tools. The neighborhood was at a great location with easy access to coffee shops, grocery store, restaurants, ice cream, bike rentals. Just two blocks away of Lake Calhoun with a 3.1 mile bike/running path, boat rentals and beach. Liz, the owner/manager, was always available and responsive. She keeps the place in great condition. Highly recommend for a great time in Uptown Minneapolis.
This place is in a perfect location in Minneapolis. A couple block from Lake Calhoun where you can walk for miles around a chain of lakes. And near the Uptown area with lots of great restaurants and shops. The apartment itself is delightful, with big windows and a craftsman style. Large and comfortable.
