Upper Canyon Studio - Modern Santa Fe Getaway

The Studio is meticulously maintained and the location is perfect…just minutes from restaurants and shops. It’s also located close to some very beautiful hiking trails. The owner was attentive from when we booked our reservation until the day we left. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect except the stairs. I did not realize the steps were there. I have some trouble walking and there was no handrail. That was tough for me but I had my husband to help me. Otherwise perfect! Great neighborhood-perfect.

I had to leave early to return to my home in phoenix for a reported leak. I received no refund - which I understand per the lease agreement. BUT the owner asked for an additional fee for credit card processing charges. She had 3 weeks of my rented month to finish remodeling the unit in anticipation of the next guest.

Tushita was welcoming and friendly. The place was spotless and well appointed.

My wife and I have stayed at the Upper Canyon Studio many times over the years. It is the first place we think of if we are planning a trip to Santa Fe. The studio is perfect for a couple and is beyond convenient for exploring the city. The studio is setup so you can come and go as needed, but the owner is always available if a need arises. Private, quiet and well located. We can highly recommend it if it fits your needs.

The space and place were perfect, quiet, comfortable, and also super close to everywhere I wished to be. I'm grateful to have stayed there.

This property contributed greatly to our enjoyable stay in Santa Fe! The location, lack of toxic chemical fragrance and modern design were not only in alignment with us but made our stay very peaceful and comfortable. The private courtyard and window with views of nature were much enjoyed.Tushita was very accommodating and communicative while respecting our privacy. Perfect location, close to everything but off the beaten path so you can decompress. We walked our dog all around the neighborhood and found everything we needed within a 15 minute drive. The studio is very quiet and cozy. The heated floors and adjustable lighting makes everything feel comfortable and calm.

The place was great, and the host was lovely. The space was clean, and peaceful. The radiant floor heating was perfect for my winter stay. The location was convenient and close to town. Just a couple unexpected issues. After booking, I received a separate lease from the host, which I understand protects the owner, but was surprised to have to read through a legal document for such a short stay. The lease mentioned I’d be responsible for credit card fees, which I agreed to, but assumed were included in what I paid while booking through the app. But after returning home, I was surprised to see an additional charge for 'damages'. The host clarified it wasn't for damages, but was the credit card fee. Even though I understood this, it just didn't feel great to get home and have an additional charge, especially after assuming I’d already paid in full. And honestly a little stressful to see a ‘damages’ message show up in my VRBO messages. But otherwise a pleasant stay.

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay. It was a wonderful getaway tucked into the Santa Fe hillside. We will definitely rebook if we ever return to the area!

The property was wonderful and the host was very helpful. The kitchen was well equipped, and had all that I needed. There was plenty of natural light and windows with beautiful views. It was a perfect distance from anything you’d want to do from the square, railyard district and canyon road. I’ll definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for three nights. The place was clean and well stocked. Good communication with the owner. She was there at check in for questions we had. Place is nestled in the mountain side surrounded by pines. Excellent place!

This refuge was perfect for my wife.Susan and I. Waking up to the sounds of birds and sitting on the patio will stay in our memeries. I just knew that this jewel was going to be perfect. The photos were accurate and the Santa Fe skies delivered. I love Modern meets Mountain retreat; the host was thoughtful and met every expectation with grace.
