Off-campus location is quiet with a short drive to downtown, area hospitals, entertainment venues, parks and lakes, and walking distance to LSU sporting events, and bike/jogging paths.

The Space:
Stylish and quiet two-bedroom one bath apartment in small complex located just north of LSU's Tiger Stadium. Granite countertops, dishwasher, central air, in-unit washer and dryer, wi-fi, smart TV, off-street parking and a pool all combine to make this an outstanding home away from home perfect for professionals visiting LSU or Baton Rouge in general. Fully furnished including bedding, kitchenware, and bathware. including a separate work desk

The complex is a small 22-unit building in a quiet neighborhood just north of LSU campus, other tenants are generally older grad students. Locked security gates ensure only tenants have access inside. The saltwater pool is located in the central gated courtyard. Parking is located steps away off the street in our lot, and is first-come first served. Additional parking is available on the street. Excellent location just north of campus, jogging paths and parks, just south of downtown Baton Rouge, and easy access to the highway to get around town quickly.

Guest Access:
Guests can park in the off-street parking spots, and will have access to the pool in the middle of the courtyard.

The Neighborhood:
Quiet neighborhood, mix of grad students, younger students, and families. Steps from Tiger Stadium and Matherne's grocery store, Torchy's tacos, Starbuck's, fast food. Jogging paths and parks like University Lakes and City Park nearby. Just south of downtown Baton Rouge, near to Mid-City restaurants and nightlife. Easy access to highway and major hospitals.

Getting Around:
Walkable to LSU campus and necessities like grocery stores, restaurants. Easy access to highway. Public transit stops within walking distance. One parking lot space included, and plentiful on-street parking right on the block.

Other Things to Note:
LSU football draws many fans to the nearby stadium for home games and tailgating. Traffic will be impacted before and after those games.

    Check in was perfect, hosts stayed engaged to ensure that all was taken care of. Everything was clean. Check with hosts about pool usability if that is high on your list. The location was perfect for everything we needed to do. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely rebook

    We visited Louisiana for my husband to attend the USBC Open Championships at the Raising Cane's River Ctr. Easy 5-10 minute drive to get downtown. The complex sits next to the LSU housing and sports stadiums, making it easy to walk to attractions and dining. We stayed over Easter so the campus seemed quiet. Kitchen had all equipment and supplies needed to prepare meals. We purchased paper plates and air fryer liners for easy cleanup.Bathroom: tub/shower w/ no fan. S & C, bodywash, loofahs, towels provided.1 of 2 bedrooms had a TV. The apt we originally booked didn't have a TV but they were able to switch our rsv to a different apt. to accommodate this request. The stackable washer/dryer was in the bedroom with the TV. We purchased soap pods and dryer sheets. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans. The bed was comfortable. There are designated parking spots in front of the bldg and addtl parking parallel to the bldg on the sides & back. Once you are parked, you have to enter codes to enter the complex & your apt. In-ground unheated pool. We never used the pool, nor did we see others use it. A tenant had it blasted during our stay. We utilized the outdoor seating daily. Exterior lights came on at dusk.The AC in the apt worked well. Older complex but apt was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay. Tom & James were great communicators. Would recommend if you are looking for a clean place with easy access to downtown or LSU events.

    We were in town for the OU/LSU matchup at Death Valley. This place was the perfect location for visiting Tiger Stadium and the surrounding “must do’s” in Baton Rouge. The process of booking, checking in/out, and communication with the hosts was simple. The rental was clean and as described in the listing. It is an older building, but the unit had nice updates and provided everything my family needed for our weekend there. We felt safe enough to leave the car and walk to the game! Highly recommend.

    Sometimes pictures can make things look better than they are. Pictures and amenities are spot on with this property. Very clean, comfortable, and in quiet area. Husband and son stayed there during a week long baseball tournament and said it was perfect. Communication with hosts was great. Would highly recommend this unit!
