Stayed Jul 8, 2023Tremezzo and Lake Como are wonderful for a holiday and this apartment is in a perfect spot to enjoy the area. The apartment itself has great space, was perfectly clean and had all amenities we needed. The pool, view and quick access to the lake and ferry are all big pluses for us. Matteo is a very professional host and he and his team do a great job to manage the apartments and make sure everything is in order for the guests.

Stayed May 22, 2022It was very nice that the host explained everything how to get to the apartment and left the keys, as we arrived very late. The children enjoyed the pool, the parents' views from the large private terrace. The villa was very close to several restaurants, shops and a ferry station. The host was very helpful, suggested several places to visit. Only Wifi didn't work well downstairs and the bedrooms seemed cool but after a hot day seemed very pleasant. We all really enjoyed staying in this place. We definitely recommend staying here.

Stayed Aug 10, 2019The apartment was absolutely lovely with all mod cons and the private garden was gorgeous with the most incredible views of the mountains around the lake. It was really private too, great for our son who is autistic and likes his own quiet space. The whole complex was spotlessly clean and nicely laid out - lovely pool which is one depth all over - our 11 year old daughter could easily stand up in it, and the jacuzzi was a great bonus. The pool was never crowded. The villa complex is less than a 5 minute walk down steps to the restaurants of Tremezzo, and the ferry terminal. Bellagio is 15 minute ferry ride away - super easy to do. Matteo our host was incredibly kind and helpful and booked restaurants for us and gave us lots of suggestions for things to do. Would definitely recommend this apartment and would go back in a heartbeat!

Stayed Jul 13, 2019Loved our stay, our first trip to Italy and the villa and location were amazing. The communication was great, the owner was really helpful and welcoming and we enjoyed taking advantage of having groceries delivered for arrival. The facilities were fab, it was even better than it looked in the photos and the views were amazing. WiFi worked brilliantly. Having the bedrooms downstairs was great as they stayed lovely and cool but still lovely and light with patio doors. It was a surprisingly short, def less than 5 min, walk down to town with great range of places to eat and drink very nearby. (NB path to town is quick but steep and cobbled so def not for stilettos but we went in flip flops and took them in a bag!!) We liked Casa Aqua Dulze just before Villa Carlotta up the hill and ended up going there twice - fantastic service and mouthwatering steak and grilled veg. La Darsena was amazing for a birthday celebration and Babayaga in Bellagio did amazing pizzas. The little shop at the bottom of the hill and under the arches were both great. The little park along towards Lenno at bottom of the hill was lovely too and the cafe does lovely toasted panini or focaccia. We rented a boat for 4 hours for €200 one afternoon at Nautic Planet opp Villa Carlotta - was amazing and they were very helpful. Plenty time to get to Lenno, past Villa Balbianello, Argegno, Lario (Clooney villa) then back to Bellagio, Varenna and Menaggio with swims along the way. We also liked Bellagio and villa Melzi but preferred the more authentic Varenna and Villa Monastero was lovely. We had a lovely breakfast for €8 in Bellagio at a cafe near the hotel Splendid overlooking the lake just a short walk along from the ferry terminal. Our best visit was definitely Villa Carlotta - totally awesome gardens and the interior of the villa was beautiful and all for only €10. We did get the fast boat to Como but preferred the local towns. Absolutely loved the villa and Tremezzo and amazing views across the lake to Bellagio at dusk- in hindsight we were really glad we chose Tremezzo rather than other villages, it's a great location right in the middle of the lake.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We found the apartment to be very spacious with a large open plan living/kitchen area opening out onto a lovely terrace and beautiful garden. It felt very private. The views were stunning! The property/pool area was very well looked after and Matteo was on hand immediately if there were any issues. The pool was used daily and was never busy. Tremezzo (a short but steep walk downhill) had a good selection of inexpensive restaurants. A visit to the 'Cantina Follie' wine bar shouldn't be missed and if you're looking for somewhere a little more special then visit 'La Darsena' which is more expensive but lovely. The set menu was substantial so worth the price. We took the ferry to visit Varenna and Bellagio, preferring Varenna as it was quieter and not as touristy. We also took the slow ferry to visit Como City - super journey. A visit to Villa Carlotta is a must, as is Villa Balbianello which was absolutely beautiful. Make sure you do the tour as it's very interesting. We found Lenno itself to be a lovely little spot with a couple of nice waterfront restaurants. The whole holiday was fantastic and we wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend to others. It was great to be able to walk everywhere and we only really used the car to go to the supermarket in Lenno. A great 2weeks!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed with friends celebrating a special birthday and Matteo and tremezzo residence ensured our time here was truly memorable. This apartment is end of link with a sprawling private garden and stunning lake view! We loved the bbq area and cooling off in the huige pool. The walk up the hill took us eight minutes but is quite steep but ok if you are reasonably fit. Our parents in their 70s coped without any problems. The park in tremezzo with sunbathing spots and terrific wine bar was a real find and we thought tremezzo as well as a fantastic spot to visit was very accessible to hop on an off ferries around the lake. All in all, an outstanding holkiday.
