Tree Top at Forsyth-Light and Airy w/King Bed and Magical Courtyard

We had a fabulous time in Savannah! The Treetop was exactly what we wanted, cozy and close to everything. Janet was wonderful to deal with and was quick to respond to any questions. We look forward to coming back and we would definitely choose Treetop again!

We loved this property! The king bed was really comfortable and the living space was perfect for lounging and enjoying the views of Forsyth Park through the giant windows with beautiful antique wavy glass. Having a parking spot was absolutely key--we drove to Kroger just 2 blocks away then didn't need to use the car again. The property is right on the dot line so you can take the free shuttle down to the River district area. The neighborhood is peaceful, quiet, and felt safe. The Courtyard was just dreamy at night. Excellent communication with the property manager who was always gracious and quick to respond. We will be back!

This is the perfect one-bedroom place to stay in Savannah for a couple or a singleton like me. It has a well-equipped kitchen, a nicely updated bathroom complete with washer and dryer, good wifi, and comfortable seating. Whenever you think you might want a hook to hang something on, just look around - there will be one waiting for you! The closet is tiny, but it was well-supplied with nice hangers - a rarity in VRBO properties. I was visiting my brother and nephew, and there was room for the three of us to sit down and enjoy a meal together. There is an Echo Dot and a TV, although I did not use either and thus cannot provide any feedback on them. Even better is the second-floor location of this apartment just a few houses away from Forsyth Park and a block and a half from a Kroger's grocery store. The surrounding trees offer good privacy if you want to open the blinds (as I always do). The neighborhood is surprisingly quiet, especially during the night. AND, you have an assigned off-street parking space, another rarity in Savannah properties in this part of town. Communication with the property manager is outstanding: the pre-arrival instructions are accurate and complete, and she responds almost immediately to any queries. There are helpful but tasteful signs around the apartment telling you the kinds of things you would know if you lived there but need someone to call to your attention as a visitor. Do pay close attention to the caution about too much soap in the dishwasher. I didn't even fill the receptacle one-third full and still had soap overflow issues. So start with just a few drops! (One thought - if you prefer bar soap to shower gel (as I do), remember to bring your own. Otherwise, you will find all you need in the shower. ) I visit Savannah regularly and have stayed in a number of places around Forsyth Square. This will now be my go to accommodation when I am traveling by myself, and I recommend that you make it yours as well if you only need one bedroom. The place was the perfect spot. It is within walking distance of everywhere you wanna go in Savannah. It was exactly as described. Clean, safe and cozy! I enjoyed one whole afternoon sitting on the porch and enjoying the lovely view and weather. If we come back to Savannah I know where I am staying! Right here! Thank you, Kelly

Overall the property was exactly as expected. It quaint but very comfortable. My husband and I had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Enjoyed being able to make food if wanted. Bed was comfy. Location was right outside Forsyth Park which made mornings and evenings enjoyable if we didn't want to walk around downtown anymore. The neighbor of the apartment ws avery nice and helpful. Grocery stores and all necessary living needs were very close by. The only negatives for us were that the couch was not the greatest, but we only used it for an hour or so each night, not a deal breaker; and the roads behind the apartment going away from the historic distract felt unsafe in the evenings. We opted to not walk around there and we never felt like we were missing out. Savannah is a beautiful city and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. We loved how the local college added diversity; everyone is physically active; and the FOOD. I could go on for hours about the food. The apartment was a great place to retire to in the evenings and enjoy our delicious food!

Great location just around the corner from free tourist bus. Bed was super comfortable. Loved it.
