Our stay was very pleasant. The apartment above the garage was exactly as advertised. The neighborhood was very peaceful and nice. There is everything you need within a few mins (groceries, restaurants, a park to walk the dogs). The host was accommodating and assured we could contact her if we needed anything. I would recommend this place for individuals or couples who need a quiet, comfortable place to stay in Greensboro and I would definitely stay there again.

Linda and Stu were friendly and welcoming. The studio was perfect for us. Great location. Close to restaurants and shopping but tucked away in a nice quiet neighborhood.

Our favorite place to stay in Greensboro

Located in a quiet neighborhood in central Greensboro, it’s close to a lot of things that we love. We’ve stayed at this same location three times and would happily do it again due to the ease of access and simplicity of the space. Highly recommended for anyone who needs an affordable space with minimal frills and amenities. The hosts are also very kind and responsive, though we needed anything extra on this trip.

Cozy and private place to stay.

We had an amazing stay at a perfect place for us. The landscaping and grounds are beautiful. The location is clean, well appointed, and is close to everything we needed including food, shopping, and entertainment. The hosts respond quickly and have the place well equipped for all your needs. The surroundings are quiet and on a dead end street with very little traffic. We came for a concert and found out we like the fun eateries in Greensboro as well. We love traveling and visiting new areas and this was an unexpectedly top 10 experience. Hopefully our travels brings us to Greensboro again and we would definitely recommend and return to Tranquility Retreat.

Traveling solo for work and it was wonderful to come home to a beautiful, serene place. Located about ten minutes from downtown and in walking distance from some great restaurants. Stu and Linda were incredibly welcoming, highly recommend.

I came to rest, relax and think and was not disappointed. The unit was clean and comfortable, especially the bed. I loved sleeping by the windows. The neighborhood is very quiet and perfect for taking a walk, run or bike ride.

Great location and great stay.

This was my second stay at this property. It was just as good as I remembered. Everything I needed for a two day stay for work. Coffee in the mornings, wine in the evenings on the little porch after a nice walk through the neighborhood. It was delightful, perfect for one person! And the kitty cat was an added bonus!
