Hanalei Bay Resort 2301 is an air-conditioned, top-floor condo in a three-story building in Princeville, where you'll have marvelous views of the surrounding garden property, the community's saltwater pool, and Namolokama’s rugged mountain range and numerous waterfalls during the rainy season.

This condo features vaulted ceilings, a private washer/dryer for your swimsuits and beach towels, and a well-equipped kitchen with all the necessities for preparing a home-cooked meal. There's a king bed in the loft bedroom, a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, and a bathroom on the main level.

Hanalei Bay Resort is one of the premier properties on Kauai. Nestled on 22 acres along the beautiful coastline of the North Shore, the resort abounds with tropical foliage and amazing views of the green mountains, waterfalls, tropical sunsets over Bali Hai, and the beautiful blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. In this spot overlooking Hanalei Bay, you'll be steps from a white-sand beach located below the resort.

Originally built as a tennis resort, the property still features some of the finest tennis facilities on the island. Enjoy access to eight tennis courts, a tennis pro shop, bell and shuttle service, beach gear rentals, a lagoon-style saltwater pool designed for family fun, and a quieter, smaller pool for those looking for something a little more relaxing. Hanalei Bay Resort also boasts close proximity to many North Shore attractions, shops, and two of Kauai’s best golf courses.

THINGS TO KNOW
Condos contain lockouts, meaning there are shared doors. Sounds may be audible between connecting doors.
Effective January 1, 2024, the Daily Resort Service Fee of $22.00 will increase to $25.00/day. The daily Parking Fee of $17.00 will increase to $20.00/day. The one-time Check-In Fee of $50.00 will continue to be assessed to each Owner and Guest reservation upon arrival to the resort; this fee continues to fund Front Desk operations.The Reservations Fee of $6.75 per every non-Owner reservation request will continue to be assessed in the 2024.
All reservations confirmed on or after January 1, 2024 will be charged the 2024 fees. Should a Guest with a 2024 reservation have a confirmed reservation in 2023, then the 2023 fees will be honored.
Internet provided by Hanalei Bay Resort does not support streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, etc.
Due to staffing shortages caused by the Covid-19 Pandemic, the hotel restaurant and bars may be periodically closed.
This property is managed by Vacasa Vacation Rentals of Hawaii, LLC.
Hanalei Bay Resort swim-up pool bar is indefinitely closed.
This is a privately owned unit in a resort. Since it is privately owned and rented, hotel-style housekeeping is not offered. There is no daily housekeeping.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

    The unit had:1) termites droppings on the floor under the TV stand2) the stove hood vent was dripping dirt liquid on the stove.3) the carpets was dirty.4) the washer and dryer was not working. This was the main reason I rented the unit was the W & D

    Lovely location, prtable condo, washer and dryer do not work hassle tl stop load and very loud. Felt bad for our neighbors when it didnt work. Front desk was very picky about number of towels and returning a towel before getting a new one. In august the pool doesnt open until 10am which seems very odd. Hanelae bay is amazing, love this island would book different location next time

    The unit needs a refresh. Especially the bathroom and kitchen. Bathroom was dated with older tile (mold and dark spots) the fan wasn’t clean. The oven door was broken in the kitchen and the refrigerator was visibly rusty. No dressers in the unit, actually there was one upstairs but it was full of blankets and sheets. I would not recommend this place. However the view and Hanelia Resort are magical.

    Very nice unit. Fully stocked with anything you need during your stay. Please note: it is a 3rd floor unit and there's no elevator. Aside from that its perfect. Beautiful views of the mountains and overlooking the pool.

    Check in process was terrible and had to talk to someone at Vacasa for 40 minutes for the front desk to retrieve our reservation info. Great resort, but their process is terrible.

    Hanalei Bay Resort is an outstanding resort Staff is helpful, personable & friendly Many wonderful amenities, including the beach Condo was only ok/C+ Many things need upgrading like, shower/tub, carpeting upstairs, balcony furniture, refrigerator & TV Would stay at resort again but would not recommend this particular condo to anyone

    Panoramic views, and loved the Resort with a most amazing pool and landscaping! View from the Lanai amazing, but most certainly needed a TABLE on the lanai! (It had 2 chairs and a lounger.) Snorkeling equipment with condo a plus.. Beach towels and beach chair provided by Resort. The condo had a King bed in the loft, very comfortable, a big beam problem if you are a tall person.. Kitchen equipment fair, oven door handle missing and needed SHARPER and better knives! Refrigerator outdated. Lighting could be better in living room. Total fees excessive.

    Hanalei Bay Resort is beautiful and is in a great location. However, most of the units there are individually owned and operated, so certain units are nicer than others. This unit was definitely outdated and was in need of a thorough deep clean. There were stains on the walls, the curtains were dirty, shower grout and curtains were disgusting, the mattress was the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on, and there was a cockroach in the bed to greet us. Communication with the host was a nightmare, as they ask you to download their third party app instead of communicating through Vrbo. I was very frustrated throughout the process. I would NOT recommend this property, but would suggest finding another unit at Hanalei Bay Resort.

    Let me start off with Hanalei Bay Resort is amazingand we would stay again, just likely not in this unit. From the front desk to the transporters, everyone was very friendly. The resort amenities are wonderful. With a short walk or golf cart ride down to Puu Poa beach, we felt so fortunate to be able to enjoy Hanalei Bay so close. We stayed 3 nights and the extra resort fees were appx $220. We drove in from Lihue around 10PM. Tired from the full day of traveling, we were excited to arrive and relax. Unfortunately, we were greeted by over 20+ beetle bugs. It was unnerving as they were in the loft area where we sleep. We started squashing them immediately, but then would find a couple more pop up. We ended up busting out the vacuum to suck them up whenever we saw them pop up. We get it, Garden Island, bugs are going to be around.They seemed harmless, but it just did not feel right to have to be on high alert, bug control the moment we got in. The bugs appeared daily, averaging 3-5 during our 3 night stay. We did reach out to Vacasa night one and they asked if I wanted them to send someone, but did not provide clarfication as to what would be done, so we declined. Washer/dryer was not optimal as it leaks if you load too much. The TV did not work, stating insufficient power. Our local rep did reach out and offer to come out, but we declined as TV was not priority. No closet/hangers, very inconvenient! Biggest pros: Comfy bed, well stocked kitchen and the lanai view!
