Home Truths

• Please note the air conditioning is only in the master bedroom and lounge room, not in the second and third bedrooms. Pedestal fans are provided in other bedrooms.

• Ashburner Street is a one-way street.

• The kitchen, bathroom and laundry are dated, but totally functional.

• The apartment shares a common stairwell and internal garage access with the other apartment.

• Comfortable and functional beach house style interior, which is why we have given the property 3-3.5 star rating.  It is the top floor so we called it penthouse,  but it is not a luxury 5 star plus experience.

    Host was very welcoming and property was in a great location. Would definitely book again with a few improvements. Master sink is teeny tiny, one can hardly brush teeth without getting the floor wet. Outdoor rubbish bins are way too small and unit is in need of cosmetic improvements.

    We had a lovely stay in this well situated property over Christmas and New Year. It was well equipped and clean.

    Great location and perfect layout for our family Christmas. Initial booking an issue when had to pay an extra $172 for credit card fee and not able to use advertised transfer to account to prevent this fee. When raised, we are told bad luck, not my problem. On arrival there is little or no consumables. Given $50 credit after complaining but still had to buy own toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tablet and laundry detergent. Little or no supplies of any of these items left. (For longer stays I understand but for a week?). Starter pack minimalist. Garbage facilities poor. Ran out of limited space within 3.5 days and then using public bins in the parks after that. Apartment a bit tired. Dishwasher leaked, lounge A/C struggles…..Regas needed?
