Stayed Dec 31, 1969Tiny House Oscar is cozy with comfortable beds for 5 people, and very convenient to downtown Leadville. We visited in December and spent most of our evenings watching movies and microwaving meals and snacks. If all your family needs is a place to sleep, Oscar is ideal. The downsides to this property are the tiny parking spot, which didn't accommodate our pickup truck, lack of utensils and plates/bowls (there are only two of each item, so we had to buy some disposables from the town grocer), no mountain views (windows give you a view of the neighboring tiny house), and the strong smell of cigarette smoke when we arrived (possibly from the cleaning crew).

Stayed May 25, 2024A lot roomier than other tiny houses I have stayed in. The living room area with 2 extra mattresses was a bonus. Walking distance to shops and restaurants - just a few blocks away. The bathroom was large with a full tub. We had lots of room to play cards and board games. Wonderful family location.

Stayed Dec 26, 2022This tiny house was a fun one-night adventure for our family on our first trip to Leadville. We were all surprised at how well-laid out it was, and we were all comfortable even in such a small space. The big benefit of the location was walking to restaurants in the evening (2 blocks), and the downside was that it was in an RV park with very rustic vehicles. Pretty disappointed in the lack of cleaning - we're guessing it may have been because we stayed the day after Christmas? Everything in the cupboards etc. was spotless, but no sheets on the beds, what bedding we find was hairy, and unwashed floor. Big bummer. (Didn't call the owners, we just dragged in our sleeping bags from the car). All in all, if you don't need a view, like the idea of browsing downtown from your front step (and hopefully the cleaning crew makes it there before you) it was actually a really neat experience. We all decided a tiny house was a pretty neat adventure. :)

Stayed May 29, 2021Be aware that there is NO working internet, TV (because it requires internet), and spotty cell service. If you want to go completely device free then this is the place for you.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We came in for Elbert hike. The water in shower was as hot as you could want. The best was magically soft. Only thing, is we hiked all day and climbing up to the bed hurt our feet, but other than that it was a great stay.

Stayed Sep 9, 2020Nice, cozy stay for a family of five. The kids loved the sleeping arrangements. I gave a 4 star overall, just because of the amount of dog hair I had to clean up off the floor. The house is in town, and was nice when you are traveling to other local places.

Stayed Jun 14, 2020Leadville was an amazing place to visit in June. We were able to study the rich history of the area and explore the beautiful Twin Lakes! The tiny home was exactly what we needed, and everything was as advertised in the listing.
