1. Heating and Electricity:This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival by cash. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.

Stayed Sep 18, 2025A place to come home to after a perfect day or night out, go swimming or hiking at Lough Hyne, shopping in Skibbereen or Clonakilty, cook up a meal or go for a bite in Baltimore. Stayed May 14, 2024Quite location, conveniently located between Baltimore and Skibbereen. Lots to do and see in the area, and good places to eat including An Sibín, a 10 minute walk away. Apartment is very comfortable and clean. The owners live next door and are very pleasant and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here. Thanks. Maybe add a teapot to the kitchen! (Has a cafetiere and most else).

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The views from this first floor apartment are really beautiful. Very quiet and serene and within a short drive of Lough Hyne, a sea water lake and scenic area. Lots of TV channels to choose from. All appliances worked well and were easy to use. Nicely decorated apartment with lovely unique touches. Robert and Bebhinn are both very helpful hosts. Stayed Dec 31, 1969My boyfriend and I stayed at Tidewater Apartment for a wedding at Inish Beg. The apartment was beautiful, really clean and warm. Bebhinn and Robert were so lovely and they provided eggs, bread, coffee, chocolate and towels for us. There is a fabulous view from the apartment too. I definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a cosy stay in a beautiful part of the country.
