Luxurious apartment next to the Vienna State Opera and the famous Kärntner Straße

This apartment is bookable for a short or long-term stay. It is located in the city center (1st district) of Vienna within walking distance you will find the famous Naschmarkt, Karlsplatz, the famous Ringstraße, the Mariahilfer Straße and all the main sights.

This apartment is located on the 4th floor in a historical Viennese building - elevator available!

It is divided into: - kitchen - living room, dining table for six and an open kitchen - three bedrooms with Box Spring bed (1,8m x 2,0m) a smart TV

The apartment is fully equiped - you will find everything you need for your perfect stay!

We provide you with towels and bed linen, shampoo, shower gel, body lotion and soap.

In the kitchen you will find a water boiler - toaster - dish-washer and a Nespresso machine.

For your entertainment we have a 55' smart TV (180 channels - 80 in HD quality) and HI Speed Internet - up to 300Mbit/s. There is a smart TV in the living room and one in each bedroom.

Hairdryer, Flatiron and a washing machine are also provided. A high chair and a baby travel bed are also available if you are travelling with kids. You will find tourist-info brochures and the newest Falstaff guides for restaurants and bars.

We are happy to assist our guests 24/7 through the airbnb app or via E-Mail.

The apartment is located in the city center - following sights and attractions can be reached within a few minutes by feed:

State Opera House, Albertina, Karlskirche, Kunsthalle, Stadtbahnpavillon, Künstlerhaus, Theater an der Wien, Secession and the famous Hotel Sacher!

Subway/Metro:
The next metro station is Karlsplatz (U4/U2), you will reach it in less than 1 minute walking distance.

Following public transport station are also at Karlsplatz: 1, 2, D, J, U1, U2.

If you arrive at the airport you can easily catch a taxi in front of the arriving hall (the price should be max. € 35) or take the CAT (City Airport Train - single € 11; return € 19 - kids to the age of 14 ride for free) to Wien Mitte - there you take the U4 - direction Hütteldorf and hop off at Karlsplatz - Take the exit Bösendorferstraße.

To get to Schönbrunn you also take the U4 - direction Hütteldorf - approx. 12 min. from the apartment.

Parking:
The whole 1th district of Vienna is a short parking zone from Monday to Friday from 09:00 AM to 10:00 PM except on public holidays and weekends.

Please note that every street in Vienna has zones which are exclusively for residents. You should use a parking ticket from the first minute of parking onward, also just for unloading your car. Parking tickets are available in Tobacco shop, Gas stations or you use mobile parking (IOS + Android App: HANDYparken) Price for 60 minutes: € 2,10.-

The closest private garage, about 3 min walk from the apartment, is Contipark Kärntnerringgarage , Mahlerstraße 6-8, 1010 Wien. - open 24/7 - € 20/day

A security deposit will be held and authorized on your credit card during the reservation process. This amount is only authorized and blocked on your credit card and will be released within 7 days after check out if no damages are incurred during the stay.

    The location of a property is a significant factor for me when traveling, and this establishment is ideally situated at the entrance of the city's main area, conveniently located next to a grocery store. The surroundings are visually appealing, and I would certainly consider staying here again.

    The location cannot be beat - walking distance to so many sites, including all the major Christmas markets - as well as the UBahn (around the corner) that takes you everywhere else. The apartment was pristine, and very well appointed in the kitchen. We could not have chosen a better place, and the hosts were very responsive.

    If your primary consideration is location, this apartment can’t be beat! It’s about one block from the Opera House, Karlsplatz underground station, and Innere Stadt. The host was very responsive and the check-in process was very easy. The downside was the location of the 2 toilets. The small bathroom in the hall had a shower and a toilet; the large en suite bathroom had a shower and tub, but the toilet was in the hall next to the small bathroom. The apartment could use some paint and a thorough cleaning. However, the few negatives in no way diminished our stay. Again, the location was ideal and we’d recommend the apartment.

    This apartment was perfect for our family of 5: parents and three university-aged children. It’s an easy walk to many historical sites, shopping, restaurants and the opera. The subway stop next door made it simple to get to Schönbrunn, Belvedere, Prater, the airport and the main train station. It was clean, modern, well-appointed and looks exactly as nice as the photos. The property manager is extremely responsive. We couldn’t have asked for a better setup for our first trip to Vienna.

    This is a very nice apartment. Attention to detail is keen, from the numerous towels for us (which we appreciated), to immaculately maintained furniture and fixtures. The only think that isn't superb are the floors - if refinished, this apartment would be a real showplace. We had plenty of room to spread out, we never were awakened by other members of the family when sleeping. The multiple bathrooms were also super convenient for three of us getting ready in the morning at the same time. You are right almost in the middle of everything going on at Karlplatz, including the Opera - a 5 minute walk from the apartment (if you hit all the walk signals red!). Nearby is the Imperial Hotel which has a delightful breakfast cafe. Also the Sacher Hotel where we had superb dinner in the Rote Bar our last night in Vienna with, of course, a dessert comprised of the famous Sacher Torte! You can hop on the subway within 1-2 minutes of the apartment and easily get around the city. Building access is easy - there is a kaypad code for the outside door and for the apartment. No keys to hassle with. The apartment is on the 4th floor, but there is a small elevator you can use to bring your luggage up. The downside for us was we (OK, maybe just me) don't tolerate heat well. In Sept when we stayed there, Vienna was unseasonably warm. Here, again, the owner had small air conditioners in each room - which saved us, esp for sleeping. Do not hesitate to stay here - you won't be disappointed!

    Safe, clean, and ideal location for taking in all the sights of Vienna. Grocer just around the corner and Naschmarkt a few minutes away. Three king beds for us and our adult kids!
