The apartments is covered in mold showers being the worst. The owner is a complete liar whe will try to swindle you out of fees. Items were damaged from prior and she accused us and tried to charge $250. I would highly recommend staying on the street before you stay here

Beautiful spacious apartment within walking distance to the Vatican and the Metro Subway. Lots of restaurants, cafes and stores within walking distance. Sylvania is great at offering her assistance areas where to eat or shop

The showers were inadequate for adults; mold in both showers; no common area other than kitchen; check in person did not speak English although owner knew we were English speaking; good location

We only stayed one night. The host answered my questions quickly. Very helpful, before and during our stay. She gave us a list of places nearby to eat. The neighborhood was a bit hard to find, but I think that was more our problem. I would recommend a stay here.

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at the Vatican Sun property! Despite having a fractured foot, Silvana provided great communication and even let us check-in early on the day of our arrival. I can't tell you how much this helped us as there were 5 of us with a lot of luggage, and the weather was very hot that day. This rental property is very spacious, and since there were 5 of us traveling (3 adults, 2 teenagers), the extra space and 2 bathrooms came in very handy! Also, the location of this property is so convenient to everything, and you can get to most places with a short 5-10min walk (taxi stand, a huge indoor market, so many restaurants, convenience stores and GELATO!). There are many conveniences at the apartment including a refrigerator, stove, microwave and washer/dryer machine. And when I couldn't figure out why the dryer was stopping the cycle prematurely, Silvana responded within only a few minutes and sent one of the neighbors over to help me out. I didn't realize that you have to empty the water tank after every cycle since this isn't something that we typically have in the US (we usually have vents or drains). And finally, on the last day of our stay, our nephew somehow accidentally threw away the set of 4 keys in the trash bin by the street. We felt absolutely horrible about this as we knew it would be a big burden on Silvana to replace the keys. She was so kind and understanding about it, and of course we will be paying for the replacements costs.

Decent 3 bedroom apartment close to Vatican. Had all the required appliances. Well equipped kitchen. 400m from nearest Metro stop. Comfortable beds and good air conditioning. The apartment was a bit hard to find at first.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay here! The location couldn’t be better - just outside of the Vatican wall. It’s very convenient to metro, taxi stations & restaurants. Silvana promptly responded to my questions and provided great directions and rental description. We were able to drop our luggage off long before check-in time. Beds were super comfortable & we loved having an espresso each morning. Showers are small compared to what we’re used to, but adequate. It was nice to have 2 full baths for 4 adults.

The apartment is centrally located in a safe neighborhood. The apartment itself was clean and we appreciated having a washer/dryer, a/c in each bedroom & cold refrigerator. However be very specific when booking about bed/sleeping arrangements. We were a party of 5 (2 adults and 3 teens) traveling together and specifically booked this apartment because it had 3 bedrooms and advertised it slept 7. The host didn’t ask what beds we wanted made up so we assumed all would be available for us to choose from, but when we went to get ready for bed the 1st evening, only 1 of the 2 twin beds was made up. We contacted Silvania and she said she’d have someone right over with what we needed to make up the other twin bed, but 5 mins later started texting us repeatedly that the maids made the beds up for 5 and 2 people would need to sleep in the double bed together. We planned on putting our son in 1 room and our daughter and son’s girlfriend in the room with 2 twins, so the 2 girls sharing a bed was not an ideal option for us. We ended up making it work with blankets as sheets, but what bothered us the most was the attitude…like we’d done something wrong. There was an easy solution but the host made it a bit difficult. Also, there weren’t enough pillowcases for all the pillows (I like to sleep with 2 pillows) but were afraid to ask for anything else because didn’t want to be bombarded with more texts. Overall, we’d recommend but be specific on needs and don’t expect anything extra.

Lovely property close to Vatican. However, host told us to communicate with her through her phone number, which we did, then scolded us for contacting her through that number. Our plane flight was delayed, which she was fully apprised of, and due to this unforeseen delay, we requested a later check in time of 5:30pm as soon as we were informed by the airlines of the delay- our host scolded us for being “late” (which we were not), stated it’s our fault the person she sent to give us the keys had to wait (why did she send this person early knowing our flight was decayed??), insisted we pay them extra for their wait, sent us messages saying how much we upset her (we literally did nothing to upset her), then complained to VRBO that we never showed up (we showed up at exactly the time we said we would- 5:30pm. She then continued to contact me throughout the stay with negative messages trying to provoke further conversation- this was extremely inappropriate. This is our wedding trip, made unnecessarily stressful. I do not recommend staying here because of the way you are likely to be treated if you attempt it. In more than 20 stays, this is a first.

The property is in a good location and walking distance from St. Peter's Square. It's close to the Metro. Very central.

Safe neighborhood, near great restaurants, short walk to Vatican. Clean condo with plenty of space.
