Stayed Dec 31, 1969Property was very clean and in a relaxing place away from the crowds overlooking the bay and Palmaria island The few teething issues were dealt with well by Simona who was most helpful.

Stayed Sep 18, 2018We stayed 7 nights here, September 2018. Every morning we woke up and swam in the bay, which was just a short distance right outside the property! The water was a perfect, comfortable, temperature! Down town Porto Venue, is just a short 13 minute walk. The town is very nice! Many days we decided to drive to La Spezia train station which took about 30 minutes and visited the Cinque Terra cities! We hiked between those towns and swam in the harbors, shopped and ate to our delight! There is also a ferry right out of Porto Venere, that will take you to the Cinque Terra towns, but the return ferry back down to Porto Venere, seemed to leave I think at the latest 4:15. That is why we decided to use the train mostly, since we got late starts to our days and tended to stay out late evening. There is a lovely restaurant right next to this property! We just loved Italy and this lovely home.

Stayed Sep 3, 2018No idea how we lucked into choosing this location. Place was really great (for 3 individuals), but location was fabulous. Walking distance to the ferry to all the 'Lands', and away from hassle and hassle of the Cinque Terre proper. Simone meet and gave great intro to place and locale. View and access to beach was great. Porte Venere was perfect size. Enough shopping, eating and sightseeing without crowds. Can't recommend highly enough.
