The Riverside Apartment has been recently renovated throughout with it`s original features retained. The large living room is a highlight with a Smart TV so you can login to Netflix/Prime etc. The master bedroom features a king sized 4 poster bed and the second bedroom has a double bed. Both bedrooms have wardrobes for ample clothes storage. There is a large fully equipped kitchen with attached dining area seating 4. A separate office with desk is great for getting some after hours emails done.

Riverside is a popular residential area, located right next to the Forth River. Plenty of grassy space next to the river and some trendy cafes and shops define this small neighbourhood. The real advantage for visitors is the proximity to the city centre, but with this neighbourhood featuring on-street parking there is no need to worry about a parking space. Only a few minutes walk takes you to the train station and the city centre and Stirling Castle and the historic old town is all located within easy walking distance.

There is plenty of free parking on the street right outside The Riverside Apartment. Only around 5 minutes walk is the train and bus station with direct connections to Glasgow, Edinburgh and beyond. Stirling, as the hub of Central Scotland, is the perfect hub for journeys into the Highlands.

    We stayed at this lovely Riverside location while we visited Stirling. We chose this particular location for personal reasons and while it is a 10 minute walk from the main town centre it is definitely worth it. It is a lovely house close to the river, so quiet but easy access to all that Stirling has to offer. It is on the second level, so if you have suitcases be prepared. Both bedrooms were spacious with really nice views of either the castle or the hills and the bathroom had plenty of room. The kitchen was great and it has a very comfortable living room. please note that Stirling does not have Uber, but we were able to get taxis to pick us up and drop us off easily. Most of the time we walked to all of the sites with the exception of the Wallace monument, which is a little out of town so we booked a taxi for that. This apartment is located in a residential area so there are no restaurants close by but it is an easy 15 minute walk to anything that Stirling has to offer. It actually is a nice walk after you’ve eaten a big meal. The host was very responsive and gave us some great recommendations on places to eat .

    Very nice accommodation, everything fresh and clean. Great place to stay for a few days. Only a mile from the National Wallace Monument, walking distance to anywhere in the city center.
