Stayed Jan 15, 2026This was a wonderful location to spend a few days in Ann Arbor. I was there for a conference that was being held in the Student Union at the university. It was perfectly situated in an area with everything you could possibly need from retail to wonderful restaurants to quaint shops. My only caution would be that there is a very steep stairwell to access the residence. This wasn’t a problem but could be an issue if you are traveling with someone that has mobility challenges. The owners were very responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I visit in the future.

Stayed May 4, 2025It was a perfect home base as I mostly was going around Ann Arbor and helping my brother move out it was easily walkable and a nice place to relax.

Stayed Oct 26, 2024The Retro Neat is perfectly named: the decor is a lovely throwback and the ambiance is comforting. The location is absolute perfection, right near Nickels Arcade, snuggled discreetly off the street. The lack of designated parking is offset by the parking structure literally around the corner. I’m already planning my next stay!
