The Parlour at Duke's Townhouse

The apartment was in great location for central York attractions, it was tastefully decked out and had everything we needed for our 3 day break. A nice touch was the hamper left for us.

This is our 2 time starting at The Parlour at Dukes and highly recommend it. The decor is lovely, it is comfortable and has everything you need. The location is perfect for walking into the city centre. We will definitely return pretty soon.

Lovely modern apartment with a cozy feel. Great location for nearby attractions and restaurants or grocery stores.

The 'parlour' apartment was great. Lovely decor, well equipped, had parking and was well placed for pubs, restaurants and exploring old York.

The accommodation met all of our needs and was extremely comfortable and the additional benefit of car parking in a central location was a real bonus. We would not hesitate to recommend Stays York and their staff (Particularly Zuzanna) who went the extra mile with a request that we made regarding the apartment decor.

We were delighted with this property, and in particular the location. Everything about the property was perfect, and we especialy enjoyed the welcome pack, and all the welcome instructions were excellent, including the list of restaurants, bars, etc. We were also very grateful to be allowed to keep the car spacing space for an extra hour.

The apartment is well equipped. The decor is very pleasing. The location is great. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. The access to the rear parking is quite a tight narrow turning but we have a standard size car so it didn’t cause an issue.

the apartment was nice but instead of spending so much money on decorations , maybe make it more practical. for example the bedside tables are tiny but then you put a huge light on it leaving hardly space to put anything. the cloth rack , the clothes slide off. the apartment was cold as every 2 hours the heating went down. the bathroom was cold even when the heating was put up. for people who have a medical condition this is unpractical. but we enjoyed our stay very much and the location is superb. we will probably book it again for next time. However! it would recommend you tell your cleaners to occassionally clean under the bed. I dropped something and saw under the bed. there was a thick layer of dust and other people's bits and pieces (like socks), and plastic packaging . clearly not been cleaned for quite a while. Again less decorations means more time for the cleaners to do the basics when they come in.

The location of the flat is perfect with the car parking provided at the back of the property too. The only thing is that the road going into the car parking is narrow . The flat was very clean, the bed was super comfy and the hamper provided was a lovely surprise :) I would definitely book to stay here again when going to York .

My partner and I had a gorgeous stay in The Parlour. It was easy to locate and the email guide we received before our arrival was very useful and helped us locate the car parking space no problem. The flat is well equipped and has everything you need for your stay. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We extended our stay another night we enjoyed the city and the flat so much. Would recommend to anybody!

We recently stayed at The Parlour on our trip to York. What a beautiful spacious apartment with everything you could need during your stay. Comfortable bed, great shower, coffee machine and a beautiful welcome hamper. Location is perfect just a 5-10 minute walk to the shambles and all attractions., local shops, bars and restaurants a few minutes away also. Very welcoming and helpful staff. We look forward to returning and can not recommend this place highly enough.

The Parlour is a perfect two-person get-away in a great location. Quiet location yet close enough for a quick walk into the vibrant York city centre and close to Museum Gardens. Fab interior and facilities, parking onsite. A short walk to the Train Station.
