There are two double bedrooms withen-suite shower rooms and an open plan living area with kitchen, breakfast bar and sitting area with a gas fire. Outside there is off road parking for one car and a shared, lawned garden with furniture located across the main road. The Old Laundry is a wonderful holiday base.



The Neighborhood:

Given its excellent position at the northern tip of Lake Windermere - England's largest lake - Ambleside makes a superb base for touring the central Lakes. The town itself is famous for its annual rushbearing ceremony and the diminutive 17th Century 'Bridge House' - one of the most photographed buildings in the Lake District.
