The Mark at Surfside, Apt. 8

Great stay

The nightly rate was low and the ratings were good, so we stayed 2 nights. The room was really clean, recently well decorated and quiet, but the door was hard to open and close. There was no outdoor lighting except for one light pole in the parking lot, which is a safety concern for two women on their own and checking in after sunset. Even still, we would’ve been fine with that (we’re low maintenance), but the second night a couple stayed in the room next door and fought (lots of screaming, cursing and had angry sex) for 3 hours from midnight to 3 am. The walls were so thin it was like we were in the same room with them. Aside from losing 3 hours of sleep that we really needed, it was scary and traumatic, to say the least. If I had small children with me, we would’ve had to leave in the middle of the night (I almost did anyway). I wish I had spent the extra money and just stayed in a house. Lesson learned. We won’t be coming back here.

For a quick getaway perfect little place!

Great place within walking distance of the beach.

This place was perfect for me and my girlfriend. Spotlessly clean, excellent amenities and very close to the beach. Also a very nice liquor store was only a couple blocks away! Highly recommend!

We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at The Mark at Surfside, Apt. 8. The beach is just a short three-minute walk away, making morning strolls and beach access effortless. The apartment was impeccably clean upon arrival, and the host’s prompt, clear communication ensured a smooth experience from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a comfortable, well-maintained beachside retreat.

Great place to stay, relatively close location to the beach and very quiet. Had multiple people occupying the units next to us and it was still never disrupted by any loud noises.

We came in for the Crawfish Cookoff and stayed at The Mark. As always, it was clean and comfortable. Thanks so much!

I absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE!! My Sister Amanda told me about this place for the Lone Star Rally, and it’s perfect!!! We’ll be booking with The Mark every year!!!!

Relaxing

We've stayed at The Mark multiple times now. It's always our go to for a quick weekend getaway. Its close to everything and the price is right. Everything is always very clean. Its an added bonus that our boston terrier is welcome as well!

It was just me & my 2 dogs. It had everything we needed! Very short walk to the beach, well stocked with all the modern conveniences & nice decor. We'll be back!
