Stayed Apr 13, 2024Il magnifico is a well kept apartment in a great location close to the central station and the main sites of Catania. I highly recommend it. An extra bonus is the Gelateria Pellegrino which also serves pastries, tavola calda, and drinks, just one block away.

Stayed Dec 9, 2023The apartment was excellent. Very clean, had everything one could need. The host, Loris, was very responsive and it was easy to communicate with him. If we needed anything he immediately made sure we received it. Parking is available on the street, but it is not always easy to find, Unfortunately. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend the apartment.

Stayed Oct 18, 2023We arrived early and Loris was helpful in allowing us to leave our luggage early so we could go an explore the city. Once we even got lost on foot and called him for directions back to our BnB.

Stayed May 25, 2023If there is a case where saying “don’t judge the book by its cover” then this place in Catania is perfect example. The area does appear a little rundown but the apartment inside was all new and shining. The location is very convenient as you can reach city center, most of the attractions and Central Railway station in 10 to 15 minutes’ walk. Very clean and convenient layout, nice size bedroom with king size bed and full bathroom. The second bathroom is located off the kitchen are and both have new fixtures which all work just fine. Nice size living/dining room and small but well-equipped kitchen to be sufficient for all but very elaborate dinner preparations. Really appreciated the fact that some basic supplies, such sugar, coffee, salt, water, etc. were provided as it was nice not to rush out to look for food after long travel from US. Checking in and out was well documented and we had no problem with that, and host provided us with a lot of information and suggestions on local area and was quick and responsive to our questions It was a perfect base for exploring Catania and region and definitely we will recommend it
