The Little Hayloft - Clean & Bright One Bedroom Loft in Honesdale, PA

My second year back. I love the little Hayloft in the quaint town of Honesdale. Lots of walkable options for food and shopping I even found late night food and drink options nearby. Owner is fantastic and makes constant improvements so the next stay is even better. Communication is great and makes the whole process so easy . It really starts to feel like your own little place during the stay and I always wish I could stay longer. I love my visits with family and friends while there but love having such a cozy place to come back to to relax and read or watch tv. Waking up is nice too-- love the coffee pod machine! I can't say enough good things.

It was a cute apartment that someone put some love into. Everything was very good. I would have two suggestions. Replace the treads on the stairs with the proper overhang so you can put fillers in the risers. I hit my heal coming down on the center stringer in my bare feet. The second is find a home for the honey bees under the front door frame. They didn’t bother me but someone may be. The Apartment was excellent. Thanks again for the stay.

Super cute, comfortable, and roomy. Great coffee and snacks. walking distance to many restaurants, bars, stores, ect. Pretty/Quaint town. Friendly & Communicative Host.

We loved everything about the Little Hayloft. Only drawback for us were the stairs, my husband hase trouble with stairs, we managed, but it was a little difficult. BUT...the loft made up for that, it was lovely with everthing we could ever need. We will be recommending the Little Hayloft to everyone we can. Great place to stay, just remember the stairs. Great time all around!!!

Heidi has been the most fantastic host both times we've stayed here. We had a little problem with the cofffee maker , which could have been taken care of the next day, but she went above and beyond and brought us a new one that evening. Many thanks!

The Little Hayloft is an attractive, comfortable and well appointed place to spend a night or a week. It contains every thing necessary for self-catering but is conveniently located within easy walking distance of Honesdale's eateries. Host Heidi was accommodating, responsive and welcoming. I had a very happy stay, was sorry that it was for only one night, and plan to return soon.

What a gem! Heidi, our host, was responsive to all requests both through VRBO and by providing a phone number once we arrived. The home is very clean and includes a washer/dryer combo machine that was easy to use. The bed was comfortable. Heidi has stocked the apartment with all you need (at least all we needed). It is very tastefully decorated. The only thing to bring to your attention is the second floor location... if you overpack, as I do, remember the stairs you'll need to climb to enter!!

We came in for one day and night for a wedding in the area. Upon checkin, the property manager was quick to respond when we had questions and was really helpful. The hayloft was extremely clean, well organized, and supplied beyond a travelers basic needs. We were especially impressed with the thoughtfulness you can tell the owner put into things; even the guest binder had specific tips, directions, recommendations for things in town. The location of the hayloft made it easy to take a walk down Main Street to see what Honesdale has to offer. It was a really pleasant stay and we’d highly recommend to anyone coming through!

This was my first time using Vrbo, and it was a great experience. Being a solo female traveler, I was a little nervous, but once I entered The Little Hayloft, I felt like I was “home”. The place is beautifully decorated and super clean! Heidi provided everything you could possibly need, even snacks! My brother and sister-in-law travel to Honesdale much more often than I do, and they were impressed with the property as well. Five stars all around!

Very clean, well maintained with amenities and supplies. Excellent communication on check-in and status during the 2-day stay. We could walk to everywhere we need to go in Honesdale, which was a bonus. I'm not sure it would work well for a larger group, but for my wife and I it was excellent.

The hayloft was a great place to stay for the wedding we were attending nearby! Heidi was responsive and the place was very clean.

My sister and I came to Honesdale to visit the cemetery and to bring some donations to the historical society museum. We had beautiful weather, stayed at a wonderful place, and was pleasantly surprised by a concert in the park, hosted by the Wayne Memorial Hospital (where I was born). Our host was great and we loved that she as so thoughtful to leave us snacks and drinks. I would definitely recommend this loft. It is an easy walk to the Wayne Hotel or down to Main Street.

We stayed at the Hayloft while attending a wedding in Honesdale. It was the perfect size for my husband and I. Heidi was a great host and had all the essentials and more incase we forgot anything.

Heidi is an excellent host with a property worth bragging about! Everything was perfect. Location, decor, furnishings and all the little extras that make work away from home.... so much better!

My husband and I stayed overnight for a kid-free Valentine's night. We absolutely loved The Little Hayloft, our only regret was not originally booking for 2 nights! Snacks and waters were waiting for us which hit the spot after a long drive. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Native and stopped in the brewery Here & Now for a night cap. Upon arrival we were concerned about ice in the driveway but Heidi and her husband were already ahead of us, planning to put salt down which was an enormous help. The Hayloft was incredibly clean and cozy, even with a box of toiletries in case you forgot anything at home. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning!

Had a wonderful fall weekend in Honesdale. Apartment was immaculate and just a few minutes drive from everything. Owner was very responsive with instructions and photos of where to park, even reached out that we could check in early. Will book again the next time we visit the area.

Highly recommend this property. Can walk to Honesdale and other interesting towns all under an hour. Easy to access train tour. Accommodation clean. quiet and comfortable. Heidi amazing host making sure all is in order. Doubt you will find a better place to stay in Honesdake

The property was so clean and everything you could think of was well explained in the welcome booklet. Great quiet and chill stay!

Loft was a little confusing to find with the building number, but when we found the correct loft we found it nice and clean. One problem we found was the toilet seat was too small for the toilet. Having worked in the apartment industry for 20 years and the hotel industry for 9 years, toilet seats are considered a liability. This is an easy fix. The TV we found you couldn’t even get the local channels for the news without using our personal Roku account. For the price, guest should at least be able to get local channels without any additional charges. Overall, we appreciated the cleanliness and convenience of walking through the lovely town.
