Stayed Sep 30, 2025The AC was broken and we were unable to reach anyone to fix it even though it was not during after hours or on a weekend. We ended up having to book a hotel. I still have not heard back from anyone about it. Inside the condo seems to be safe and comfortable but doesn't seem like a good neighborhood to go walking around

Stayed Aug 21, 2025Close to ballpark, gas lamp dist and Little Italy. Loved being able to walk these areas although the homeless are a bit overwhelming. That being said, they did not bother us or beg.

Stayed Jul 12, 2024My grandson was on the balcony every second we were in the VRBO. Beautiful breeze, he would sit out there and read or just watch the world go by. You are in the city, there is lots of street noise. I noticed they had a white noise machine in the master bedroom but it was unnecessary for me. Comfy beds, nice showers living room comfy as well. I would rent this again.

Stayed Jul 2, 2024We rented the spot in the Leo for a long weekend over the 4th of July. The neighborhood is transitioning, but the location is still walkable to many good coffee shops and sites like Petco Park. It can be a bit loud on the street and the 6th floor apartment only has the rooftop deck above it. Some of the neighbors decided to fiesta by moving chairs around at 4am. The apartment itself is standard - there are very few kitchen or bath amenities. The dishwasher was broken and the lock code to the parking lot didn’t work after our first night. Management was notified via text and they said they would fix it. (The lock was not fixed during our stay). In one of the bathrooms, two of the floor tiles also just popped up when I stepped on them. Lastly, as mentioned in some other reviews, the vertical blinds need help. Some are mismatched or flipped where they broke - and one randomly just fell off while we were staying. But overall, the place was fine for us during our stay.

Stayed Apr 14, 2024We stayed at this property for 3 nights for a family of 3. Sam was very prompt in responding to all our questions. Apartment as in a reasonable location, which allowed us to commute to the Convention Center. We had requested for early check-in, bun instead we had to wait a little bit beyond even usual check out. This was due to the fact that previous renter had not late check out. Three bedroom set up was nice and mattresses were comfortable. However, apartment needs lot of repairs. The cleaning was done in a hurry. Microwave had food splatters and the dishwasher had dirty dishes. Dishwasher was not in a working condition. We tried to switch the outlet but we had no luck starting it. So we only used 3 clean dishes and 3 cups during our stay, as most of our meals were outside. We were unable to use the master bedroom as some of the panels in the vertical blinds were missing and so the room had a lot of light from outside sources (sunlight during the day and street/car lights at night). Same is the case with the blinds in the living room. It is apparent that the owner/manager/cleaning person are aware of this, as we found the broken blind panels in couple of shelves. Fan or vent in the master bedroom was noisy too. So we used the 2nd bedroom. The AC unit in that bedroom also needs repair, as it keeps making loud noise every 2-3 hours that last for 15-30 seconds. Very disturbing in the middle of the night. Also, we noticed that not all electrical outlets seemed to work properly.

Stayed Apr 17, 2024The property was very clean and easy to find. Security parking was nice. If you don't mind a little walking the property is close to all the downtown amenities. Petco Park, Harbor. You can expect to see a few homeless people, however we never felt that we were not safe. Rooftop Patio was a nice place to relax.

Stayed Jan 20, 2024Great location to the San Diego Conference Center. The property POC was great. Had a few concerns with dishwasher not working, one bathroom drain not draining well, and no cable. The condo was a great size for all of us, plenty of room.
