This accommodation was the nicest place we have ever experienced. Extreme quality in every category. You are immersed into nature and every detail of this place is first class. The owners have worked hard on their property to be environmentally beautiful and have created a paradise. Be sure to visit here for an amazing experience.

Waking up to a beautiful sunrise, with the sound of many different species of birds singing, having a fresh hot coffee on one of the beautiful decks. The air is fresh and crisp! The property is absolutely beautiful and well maintained. Laundry on site, all the hot water one could want, a fantastic jacuzzi overlooking the lagoon. Falling asleep to the chorus of peepers. Anyone looking for a piece of tranquility moments away from beautiful township are missing out if they don’t book here. The owner is extremely attentive and welcoming. Celebrating our 10 year anniversary- this was the perfect place. We will DEFINITELY rebook on our next visit to the island.

What a rare find. The Inn is located in a secure and quiet estuary, and it’s not to be missed. We were surrounded by nature in a wonderfully decorated suite. We saw eagles, bats, beavers and so many birds… Harold is a wonderful host. Can’t wait to go back!

Unique setting in estuary marsh environment, created in consultation with indigenous landowners. Elegantly designed to meld seamlessly into the verdant surroundings. Management personable and quite accessible. Outstanding.

We love coming back to the Lagoon Suite at the Inn on the Estuary. Harold always greets us with an update on the birds and wildlife in the area. The lovely gift for guests was a beautifully painted mandala stone which I will use at my desk at home. The purple beautyberries were a spectacular sight in the fall foliage.

What a delightful and calming stay! Inn the Estuary is absolutely gorgeous, with so much wildlife and excellent views right outside your patio. Harold was such a kind and attentive host, and even offered to fill our tire for us when he noticed it was flat! Clean, quiet, and so close to anywhere you’d want to explore! 10/10 experience!

Beautiful property. Check in was so simple - code sent ahead of time and all seamless. We didn’t cook but the kitchen was well equipped for all we needed - breakfasts, lunches etc. Everything was fabulous - and the host was right there if we’d needed anything. We’re hoping we’re lucky enough to come back!

Haha - Just kidding. The Inn on the Estuary was an unexpected surprise du jour. The opportunity to watch a sunset over the estuary, bustling with wildlife & the sweet tweets... is just, wow! I'm jealous of how comfy the king bed was. I thought my bed & pillows at home were comfy- but this took first place. We played 18 holes of golf at the peaceful & lush, Fairwinds, only 10-12 mins by car. Bought a few groceries (10 min walk) - at Quality Foods. (Quality Foods meat selection is lame; I suggest you bring fish and/or meat from someplace else to BBQ.) There's no oven- but the BBQ is right outside the door on a common area / landing surrounded by lush foiliage, wild trees, grasses, and flowers. Harold, the owner, is super friendly, and quite an inspiration. His story of determination to build his dream home beside the estuary should be a movie. I have one request before I return; please put up an awning outside the suite deck, or a rattan blind and shift the bird feeders away from the window. At least 4 smashed into the window while we were there - one died. :-( Sort of took away from the bird sanctuary feel a tad. Anyhoo. What an amazing place. Love you Harold. Take care of your wife. Love to meet her next time. Looking forward to our return. Till next time. Cheerio. Bella & Rob

We spent 2 nights in the Lagoon Suite. It was lovely! The bed was very comfortable, and the suite had all the basic necessities. The outdoor was very relaxing. It was enjoyable to watch all the birds on the patio, and the beavers in the evening. The host Harold was very welcoming, and wished us well on our departure. We would certainly recommend this place to others!

My second stay in the Lagoon Suite at Inn the Estuary was just as wonderful as the first time. It's furnished like a high-end hotel room but also has a small, but adequate, kitchen. I'll definitely be back.

This was located in a beautiful peaceful area- we loved the nature and the variety of birds we saw outside the windows. It was close to a lot of trails and forested areas. Harold was an amazing host - very helpful and friendly. You can immediately tell the pride he has in his inn and had lots of tips to enjoy the area. The suite was very comfortable and well laid out. We would definitely recommend anyone to visit for a great peaceful getaway. We will be back for sure when we come out to the island!
