Our visit to Bridgton was great, primarily due to the beautiful setting of our stay at the Hideaway for our family of four (two adults and two kids (five and twelve)). The Suite is located above a pub and grill in downtown Bridgton, which we were a little worried about; but turned out fine. We didn’t hear any noise from the pub when we were visiting, and you wouldn’t have known it was down there. The condo is located in downtown Bridgton, with access to shopping (grocery, antiques, general stores, etc.) and restaurants. The condo itself was just like the photos. Everything looked new, and some of the housewares were still in packaging. The place was clean and prepped for us to stay. The bunkbeds had a couple of stuffed animals, which made it welcoming to our kids, and there were some board games and children’s books out as well. The refrigerator was spacious, and we were given a few bottles of water as well. The kitchen was stocked with plates, dishes, flatware, etc. We were very excited to find that there was hand soap available as well. It was easy to check in and out of the condo. Note that there is no elevator, so you must climb some stairs to get to the condo. The host was great, communicating with us before, during and at check-out. Any issue we may have had the host was available, even after hours when we came back late after a wedding. I don’t know if or when I’ll find myself in Bridgton again, but if I do, I know that The Hideaway will be where I do stay.
