This was a perfect location while my mom had spine surgery at Abbott. It was only about an 8 to 10 minute walk to and from the apartment to the hospital. Hayden was a wonderful host and very quick to respond back. The beds were extremely comfortable and we felt very safe in the area.

Our host,Hayden, was the best! Our room was great! Everything we needed. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the Minneapolis area.

This was a great place to stay! We were visiting friends in Minnesota and were there most of the time but when we went back the place was very pleasant. It was quiet and tucked away. I’m a clean freak so I’m very picky but this place was fairly nice, there were a few things I cleaned up but overall it was great. I’m not from Minnesota so I don’t know what areas are great but it seemed safe inside the building. We overall had a great time and loved it! We will definitely come back!!

Very nice apartment for 1 or 2 instead of a hotel

The apartment itself was terrific - clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The check in process was a bit janky with multiple lockboxes in a different building than the apartment. The owner was responsive in providing instructions. This VRBO was listed as having secure parking - essential for us. We arrived at night and there was no parking available in the 'secure lot', forcing us to park on the street in an area of town where we would not have done so. We stayed 3 days/4 nights and were in & out quite a bit during our trip. There was only one time we were able to park in the advertised lot, otherwise we were on the street, sometimes more than a block away... leaving us frustrated and concerned for our vehicle each time. One evening we didn't even go out as we knew we would be driving around forever trying to find parking. There were a couple of parking places occupied by construction cones and a dumpster. On the second day, tenants moved the cones to open two additional spaces, but there were still none available. Several tenants shared that parking is always a problem. People wait in their cars in the lot for a space to open. This owner absolutely should not be advertising The Hazel as including parking - secure or otherwise - because it most certainly does not.

I enjoyed staying at this clean and quiet apartment. Checking in and out was easy and the host was quick to answer questions and a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely stay there again!!

Hayden was our best VRBO host ever! We stayed here for a surgery my son had at Children's Minneapolis. Stressed about the surgery, Hayden and his property made it A easier for us. This was closer to the hospital than we thought, literally on the next block. The area is known to be sketchy but the security of the building/room is top notch, felt safe. Super clean, modern, and VERY comfortable, we were ALL happy with our showers (coming from shower snobs). I highly recommend this property! Hayden's quick responses and his property kept it easy for us to focus on our son who btw wants to know where Hayden got his mattress from for the trundle which he slept great on the night before surgery. Thank you Hayden! NOTE: Check in was a little confusing at first, you need to enter a door (with a code and key) on one side of the parking lot to get the keys/access card from lock boxes, you then need to proceed across the parking lot (it's a small lot) to a different entrance to get to this apartment.

Good proximity to the downtown area, ie the Minneapolis Convention Center. I have a bad back, but the memory foam mattress was very comfortable & supportive. 4 big pillows on the bed. The unit was a fairly new 1br, 1ba ground floor apartment, and it was odor free & spotless. I'll stay again next year!

We really enjoyed our stay. We were not there other than to sleep, because we were there visiting family for the holidays, but we would give it a 5 star and would recommend it to family and friends.
